    Thinking of CQ UK…help needed

I was wondering the same about UWW+. I understand that nothing should be applied over CQUK. I believe UWW+ contains polymers. So the polymers may affect the beading/sheeting/self cleaning of CQUK. How would we clean off a bird bomb? I was thinking maybe use UWW+, then immediately follow up...

Help! Horrendous scratches or clear coat failure?

Thanks, I never heard of checking or crazing before. I had to google it. That very well could be the problem.

Help! Horrendous scratches or clear coat failure?

Here is an example of what I have corrected in the past. Again, no expert, but I was satisfied with the results. The scratches on the Buick are so many and deep, that I think it is beyond my skill level. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Help! Horrendous scratches or clear coat failure?

This is just a hobby of mine, but I have had excellent results removing defects with surbuff pads and m105 using the Kevin Brown method. Then following up with milder pads and m205. I don't normally like using a rotary, but my griot's orbital wasn't touching these defects. I understand that...

Help! Horrendous scratches or clear coat failure?

Take a look at this paint on a 98 Buick Park Avenue... I tried hitting it with my Griot's 6" orbital, M105, and surbuff pad. No luck. I tried using my rotary with a wool pad and M105, again, no luck. I'm afraid to try wet sanding if this is clear coat failure and really don't think it's...

    Review: Duragloss Car Wash Concentrate

Nice review. I love DG 901/902. And yes, the smell definitely reminds me of the cherry cough syrup.

    Meguiars Engine Kote

I have to agree with TLMITCHEL, I love CD2 Engine Detailer. Looks great, non-greasy, and lasts a loooong time for me.

    Benefits of foam wash guns?

Isn't Husky a Home Depot pressure washer? I have about the equivalent, but it is the Lowes Task Force version. I mainly use DG 901, but have recently purchased the DP Extreme Foam when it was on BOGO. I like them both, with DP being the foamier of the two. I guess I just spray too much. I...

    Benefits of foam wash guns?

High sudsing formulas will create thicker, shaving cream like foam that will stick to the car longer. This is beneficial in emulsifying the dirt and grime on the car. I'm sure you would also get great results with the Griot's wash. But when you get a chance, on your next order from AutoGeek...

    Pick the right pads?

Totall agree. I bought one pack of surbuf pads to try and was amazed at how well they corrected with 105. Needless to say, I bought more.

    Benefits of foam wash guns?

I love my foam cannon too, but I could never get that much use out of 6 oz of solution. I'd be lucky to get one car done. I wonder if it is because I have a sucky pressure washer. 2000 psi @ 1.6 gpm. :dunno:
