I came here because I had the exact same problem. This is a brand new Purple Mercury Super PRO+ Alka line 1000 ml (34 oz) bottle and the top and the bottom got seperated while I was spraying the wheel arches with diluted CarPro Multi X and the bottle did not spray anymore:
