Review: 3D Paint Coating and 3D One Cutting Compound and Finishing Polish

That makes more sense. Thanks for the clarification. So sounds like it's prob just used as one of the carriers to get the ceramic resin on the paint? Like I said, as long as it works. I try not to get hung up on the latest buzzwords and I don't think sio2 is the end all be all. It deff get's...

Review: 3D Paint Coating and 3D One Cutting Compound and Finishing Polish

I really don't care what's in it, if it works it works. Just that the statement of "a true ceramic coating doesn't contain any SiO2" kinda threw me off... But yeah, I'm not a chemist and haven't been on the internet as long as you so I'll wait for the professionals to tell me what to think.

DP Floor Mat Cleaner & Protectant Review

I picked some of this up during the 50% off sale and used it the other day on my Husky floor mats. I usually just use Meguiars D143 to clean them and it works fine. Didn't see a difference in using the wheel and tire cleaner on them versus this dedicated floor mat cleaner.

102.5 hours in 2 weeks. Tis the season.

So far this year I've worked right at 800 hours of overtime. I'm on 7/12's right now. Every year they say overtime is going away, yet every year I end up with 700-800 hours of OT. The last time I had a weekend off was in March. So yeah, sounds like you got it pretty rough out there.

    Anyone here save soap/wash water?

I dump that leftover soapy water in a separate bucket and that becomes my wheel bucket for next wash. Just hit it with the pressure washer or hose for a second to reactive the suds and throw the wheel brushes in there. I still use wheel cleaner but I figure any kind of extra lubrication or...

    They’re back! Love Bugs!

Pretty bad over here right now. They are really attracted to white, and my house and car are white. When I’m sitting at a red light they will swarm the car. Gotta clean the windshield everyday, got xpel on the front end of the cars so I don’t worry about that as much. Sent from my iPhone...

    NEW McKess 37 pollen X

Yeah same thing I was thinking. Interesting product for sure. While I don't like doing a waterless or rinseless when the car is full of pollen, I would use it after a wash like a detail spray. I wonder how it affects the water behavior of the LSP?

    AutoGeek's Shampoos

Still doesn't make it right. Shampoo sounds more like an action than a product. Like you would shampoo something using soap. Do you wash your clothes with shampoo? I dunno maybe I'm thinking too much into it. I just think the term shampoo should stay in the hair care business.

    AutoGeek's Shampoos

I wash my hair with shampoo; I wash my car with soap. In the real world I have never once heard someone say they are going to shampoo their car. I think when a manufacture labels a car soap as a 'shampoo' they are some how hoping you equate that word with being higher quality, for what ever...

New Honda Civic with Dealership Paint Protection Sealant - How to care for it

All the Honda dealerships around me use the Auto Butler system for their paint protection package. It was on a Honda Pilot we bought. The paint was real glossy and didn't have any swirls on it, but it wasn't very smooth and was full of contamination. You're supposed to bring it back every 6...

    I’ve tried Beadmaker...

I like poorboy's spray and gloss. Seems to attract less dust than beadmaker, but it's just as slick.
