    Megs ultimate polish?

Thanks guys. It's funny, when you read a review like the one in my original post, I wish it came with a disclaimer. Something like: "Yeah, first time I used this, not sure if I used it properly. I might have applied too much and letting sit for 3 days might have been too long". Instead of...

    Megs ultimate polish?

Review quote from product page. Mixed feelings on this stuff. June 5, 2014 Your end results of hours of extremely hard work will be great. One of the best clear and liquid looking finishes of many polishes I've tried. The problem is that it dries extremely fast and I go through a ton on a...

Please Be Kind - I'm Stressed Enough

Duuuude, it looks great. For a first correction you did an incredible job. It does take quite a bit of time. I know, for me, if I just keep focused on the task at hand and work methodically, soon the car looks freakin great. You should feel good about what you did. Congratulations. Peace, Darrin

Time to detail my 9 month old car!!

Colli 476 is a beast of wax. I mean that in a good way. I got well over a year of stellar protection, on a DD no less, with proper care and maintenance of the paint. As you already know, you have to stay away from the trim. Coatings can be somewhat tricky but are not a problem if you ask the...

Cleaning Foam Pads of HD Speed

I agree with the threads that recommend applying an apc, degreaser or dedicated pad cleaner. Knead the pad then submerse the pad in hot water. This works for me. On products you know present a problem, hit the pads w/ cleaner immediately after use. Good luck. Peace, Darrin

    What to buy?

I agree with dlc on the pads and maybe some mf towels. You can never have too many of either. Maybe something to keep the pads clean. If you take proper care of them, they will last. With sales I try to fill some holes in the arsenal and maybe treating myself to something I've been wanting. Good...

Thinking of getting some Boss pads.

Thanks guys, I thought the few reviews that mentioned slinging were operator error. I pulled the trigger last night and stocked up with the sale.

Thinking of getting some Boss pads.

With this sale, now's the time. Read a few reviews that said they have the propensity to sling. Any truth to that? I'm guessing it was just bad technique on the part of the reviewer. :buffing: TIA Peace, Darrin

Please Be Kind - I'm Stressed Enough

I say, your paint does have damage, but I would start with a less aggressive compound than 105. When correcting paint, the object is to take as little off as possible to get the desired result. Will the 105 do the job? Most likely. Would a less abrasive compound work? Possibly. Enter test spot...

    EXO as stand alone?

Yes, I realize it is a stand-alone product, but many or most folks use it to top CSL. How is it by itself? From what I have read, the gloss factor and hydrophobicity are stellar. I'm not as interested in longevity, but I would like to see at least 6 months of full bore gloss, beading and...
