    you want to use a phosphoric acid wash after you mechanically remove rust and degrease the surface, then paint....go to a local autobody supply shop and they will point you in the right direction.

    i do an off vehicle wheel and tire cleaning regiment every 5000 miles when i rotate the tires, as well as a brake inspection and cleaning. i also pull, inspect, and regrease the caliper slide pins.

    ocean state job lot had 4 different tire shine products from 2 to 4 bucks each, one of which being turtle wax ice tire shine which i have yet to try but for 2.50 a piece it was worth it for the brush applicator alone. the others are blue magic, black magic, and stp.

    im upgrading my foam gun and giving the old one to my dad, which foam gun should i get? what are the pros/cons to each of the foam master guns? from what ive seen the fm2 is controlled by a dial instead of the pin like the original. has anyone had issues with either?

    the way i see it is that you're about to spend money on an extra backing platefor a tool you just paid 350 or 400 for, why not get the most versatile bp available, not only will the 4" bp run a 5" pad well and safely, but you could even drop down to a 4" pad if you need too

    Beginner New to Detailing

    knock down the blobs with either a razor of 1500 grit and work your way to 3000 grit, then polish the sanding marks out, be extremely careful wetsanding, if you havent done it before or are unsure of yourself, find a pro to help you out.
