Anyone buy/try this new blue sponge? Your impressions. Looks similar to the white Supernatural sponge that I bought last year for my rinseless washes. Very soft and absorbent and very scratch-free if your go easy on the paint.

Paint Thickness: Taken using Digital Coating Thickness Gauge Now that I own a PTG and do work on some brand new cars, I'm curious what your readings were in general (hi-low, door jambs...) in mls or microns, and was the Golf ss or cc? Thanks.

2 questions if I may: Q1: see you used the Kenotek leather product. have you ever used their detail spray? if you have I'd like to know your impressions. Q2: 2.2 mils ptg reading is about 56 microns. that's pretty low for a 2014 car. did you have concerns at polishing the paint at that level?

1. I go 1 day at most. I did go 5 days once w/o mildew prior to washing 2. most mfg's themselves tell you to wash prior to 1st use

What waxes, hybrids, sealants are you using and where do you live?

gtechniq back a few years ago recommended C1 then EXO on top (like you say a coating upon a coating). Pro Serum was intro'd about a year ago. Now a consumer Serum is available. Not much different than what Optimum did with their pro only then their consumer gloss coat product. No surprise to me.

Can those that rate WGU highly elaborate (besides price/value) why they feel WG>OPT>D114>BF? I'm running low on my current favs (OPT, D114, Ultima) but may want to try WG RW.

I know some have mixed different polishes, compound + final finish to cut down dust. I've mixed a QD with a regular shampoo to enhance slickness/gloss. And I've tried Z-2/3/5/Z-FX together to produce a unique Zaino look. I would try a WW plus RW.

Similar to my failure. Last year everything worked OK with the Kwazar Mercury Pro sprayer. This year (even after cleaning out the sprayer) nothing works. Very disappointed. Not even looking for a warranty, but an alternative. My sprayer stopped working all together.
