I hope you tested your ww towel on a CD (prior to using it on your car) with a spritz of water, then test it dry with no water.
Which ww mfg did you use that marred your paint?
that's the way I've been doing it for 2 years. WW lightly touches the coated panels but I have yet to see any scratches.
Question I have is: if you have an electric blower why not use it on the painted surfaces?

Contact Rasky's Auto Detailing in Shakopee, MN. He's just south of Minneapolis. He is numero uno in MN.
I know him from Autopia as raskyr1. Same name on AG.
Good Luck.
I guess I still don't understand why the Nanoskin (light/medium grade clay towel) did not remove the roughness on 7/30/14 but did remove it on 8/9/14 with the same lubricant. What am I missing here?
Did your bare hand feel the roughness like the baggie test on 7/30 and on 8/9?
I too rate highly Ultima WW+. Used ONR for many years but UWW+ just seems to outperform ONR (waterless, slicker, glossier, does not leave my sponges/mf's dirty looking like ONR...). My Opinion Only.
Is there a reason why AG does not sell Zaino products?
I'd too would like to see a Zaino coating WOWA like DG's Enviroshield.
Maybe add a more aggressive correcting polish say at 1500 grit level.
More durability on their tire dressing to compete with Tuf Shine.

"The only problem I had was I found I had to use CarPro eraser and/or IPA after SQ for best performance."
Why was that? Website states SQ last then Enviroshield.
Also, I was told by DG TS to use the mf side of the yellow pad and not the foam part. 1 squirt to prime then 1 squirt (maybe...
It takes ONE wash, not done properly by a dealer or the prev owner, to inflict many cc scratches. Like stated above, use a machine to safely remove them. Do it yourself or pay someone from this forum that lives near you to do it. Then coat it.
I gave up on the Y cutting for the MF cutting pad (LC on a DA) 1-yr ago. MF is more expensive but it produces time-saving faster cuts and finishes down better. And I don't need to step up to a Wool or Foam Wool pad at this time. Buy 1 MF pad (you may find a Meguiar's MF) at Wal Mart and give it...
I'd say 1-2 oz per abrasive polish on a med sized car. That's been my experience over the years.
<1 oz using a finishing/jeweling polish with a DA. Again, my experience.

"In winter I don't usually touch the paint anymore."
We must be neighbors. I have not touched my paint in 2 years now during the winter. And I live in NE. CC scratches are almost nonexistent on my car come spring since coating. I aim for 95-98% touchless clean during the...

touchless examples...foaming, power washes, nozzle-attached or
nozzle-free water washes are a few ways to perform touchless washes. but, to get the maximum performance out of TW start with a coating on your car.
