    Best wheel sealant.

I had 845 on my chrome wheels through the winter and I personally think it sucked. The wheels were dirtier than ever with normal driving conditions, and they didn't clean up very easily. As soon as the weather broke I coated them with 22ple rim and metal coat. Couldn't be happier. A trip...

Review: Gtechniq G Wash - New Fav!

Great review. I've been using this since I applied Exo to my car last year, and from the first use I loved it. The smell is delicious, and the suds are amazing. I use it in my wash bucket and it foams like mad. Great lubricity, and like you stated, it leaves nothing behind. It's strictly a good...

    Polishing cars outside??

Polishing outside is no big deal, I do it like that because I have no garage space. As long as you wash before hand and go at it you're fine. The only problem I run into is when it takes more than one day, the panels I don't get to the first day need to be waterless or rinseless washed prior to...

    Horrible wash mitt

I've never had a problem with the fatty oranges. I mainly will use them for pat-drying with rinseless washes. I too have a carbon black car, a lacrosse, and have never noticed marring. Make sure you pay dry, never rub. That being said, I use cg's wooly mammoth as a drying towel. It's the...

New 2014 Camaro and Camaro z/28!!!!!

Agreed. I was never keen on the current gens rear end. I think the updates are a definite improvement. Still awaiting the next gens smaller platform to cut down on some size

Treating our women (or men) like our cars

I heard somewhere that a little compound rubbed on a woman will take away her swirls, scratches, and defects...further testing is needed, stay tuned...

    Post Your Beading Shots!!!

Well, here is gtechniqs Exo, about 7 months after application. This car is outside 24/7, was weekly washed with gwash during the warm months, and rinseless washed a handful of times since winter hit. Figured I'd share since I'm amazed every time I see it bead like this, like it was applied...

Ongoing RUPES review - all opinions welcome!!

It's marketing. Of course they want you using they're products and pads, that's money in their pocket. The whole system was designed to be used together to achieve "optimum" results. However, if you read around, nearly everyone with the machine uses the products and pads that they prefer with...

    Battle of the Waxes

Do you maintain the truck weekly? Biweekly? If you're looking for too notch protection from uv rays and something long lasting, personally I'd go with a coating. I'd recommend gtechniqs products, as I have used them with great results. Pricey, but worth every penny imo

    when can I apply wax

I just picked my gf's car up yesterday from the body shop after having her front bumper repainted, and the rule of thumb is that you can polish and compound the panel immediately if you wanted to. However, they say wait 30 days to apply any wax/sealant because there are gases that are needing to...

    DA or Rotary? Hopefully DA...

Not necessary if you intend to clay and polish, as clay will strip wax and polishing removes clear coat, thus removing any lsp on your paint

    Do you finish?

I understand where all you are coming from, and ideally that's the way to do it, but what happens when we're talking about daily drivers, or cars that sit outside all day that the weekend warrior is doing? I can't finish a car in one day, I just can't. I don't have garage space to let a car sit...

    Best DA Polisher for Beginner

I did the same. Love the power and forced rotation. I never have found it hard to use like others mention. Just start out slow, get the feel for it, and go from there. I'd rather have more power than not enough personally.

    BoUnCeR's Waxes... Anyone have em?

I applied satsuma rock this weekend and I wasn't impressed. Says let dry to a haze, but it was a PAIN IN THE *** to remove. Found myself having to reapply and buff immediately to remove. It's the only bouncers wax I have so can't speak for the others.
