Getting rid of BO and Cologne smell

I recently worked on a car that had been hit by a skunk and the odor had impregnated the seats very well. I took a big box of baking soda sprinkled it liberally all over the interior, then took a scrub brush to rub it into the cloth. Left the doors open for about an hour for some airflow...

    What ELSE Do You Polish?

Novus Plastic Polish #2 works very well for CD's or DVD's. Have used it for years. If you open the bottle for some of the scratch removal kits at discount stores it usually has the Novus polish in them last time I looked. I actually just did 2 DVD's 20 minutes ago.

    Cleaning a trunk???

I've had good luck with putting a brush onto my porter cable 7424XP and having the oscillations cause the debris to bounce up from the carpet then use the vacuum to suck it up.

    DP auto bath shampoo suds....??

I think the pump dispensers are only about one ounce per pump. I would give another ounce or two and try it again. Did you use the water to create turbulence to mix it for you?

Can you polish glass like you polish your car?

I used some of the Auto Armor All In One polish on my glass shower doors and it did a fantastic job. I wouldn't have tried it on a windshield yet but was happy that it worked as well as the Griot's Glass Polish (at least on the shower door). I have used the Griot's Glass Polish on my wife's...

    Question about my PC XP

You can cut the pad off and put Velcro onto the plastic plate to create a 4 1/2" backing plate, granted it doesn't have any cushioning built in but I use mine to support a scrubbing brush.

'Wax Machine Stick' packaging: Great Idea! Why no Others?

I was able to avoid the melting method by simply squeezing the wax while in a plastic bag to break it up a bit and shove it into a deodorant container. I was not good in chemistry so didn't want to alter the wax by heating and cooling it.

'Wax Machine Stick' packaging: Great Idea! Why no Others?

It's pretty easy to squeeze Meguiars Gold Class paste wax into a deodorant container. I haven 't tried any others. Used a cookie press for awhile but like the deodorant container better.

    Tornador Cleaning Tool

I purchased the Tornador Foam Gun used and then converted it over to the Tornador Car Cleaning gun. It's really easy to do and if anybody wants I can write up how to do it. I took pictures as I converted just in case. Parts were around $40 and easy to swap back and forth. The Foam version...
