    Tire Dressing

Not sure what else I’d go to as the all-season Conti DW06 were very good but the PSAS4 are noticeably better in every way except maybe longevity but so far so good. I’ll deal with the dressings issue as DG 253 is quick and easy to apply and not too picky about the rubber.

Wheels Coating -interfering- with Wheel Weights

I might suggest applying a coat to the outside of the wheel prior to turning it over to the installer to protect the new wheel a little but not coat the inside until after you get it back with the wheel installed. Clean the wheel well inside and out so the wheel weights will have an even better...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

You may want to open up the nozzle as my IK Foamer had foaming problems due to dirt/film on the felt discs. Dirt/film seemed to be due to leaving the foaming mixture in the bottle long-term.

    Gas prices

I guess that goes back to we need to keep this sort of stuff out of all threads. It is clear by what has been said that the negative thoughts/feelings will persist beyond a single thread and we saw that same thing with the Covid thread and other political threads. I don’t pay attention to...

    Gas prices

What people are trying to say is that there should be no ambiguity, no wondering of the intent. Such words just shouldn’t be used in polite society. Forums aren’t only for exchanging information with like-minded people, it is also about interacting with different people. I appreciate that we...

    Post Your Unpacking Pictures

I definitely like my ice fishing gloves that I bought myself for Xmas last year. My hands stay so warm in 45F degree weather than my hands sweat.

    Gas prices

That already happened a long time ago when Covid and politics were being actively discussed here. It doesn’t belong here because I open recent threads so even when I don’t want to read it, I do a little. I guess I could be a little more careful on the recent threads I open but it would be...

    Tire Dressing

It also depends on what you’re doing. If just using a dressing, it doesn’t have to be “clean until white foam” but if you’re trying to put a coating on the tires, it may need more than one “clean until white foam” for the coating to last. Dressings may not last as long initially when the tire...

Apparently Biden is the cause of gas prices going up and down. And American cars are better than Asian cars. Dogs are better than cats. You know, normal stuff.

    Latex gloves?

Well I drive an Asian car so what do you have to say about that? :)

    Tire Dressing

I keep trying to find something better but I keep going back to DG253, primarily due to ease of application and it being as durable as anything else out there. Coatings last longer (3+ months) unless the sides get scratched and then it is very hard to touchup.

NEW Griot's Garage Ceramic Tire Dressing - Any good?

Looks great and I don’t normally like black on black but good looking wheels and tires.

I wear Gloveworks nitrile gloves when working with chemicals but my hands sweat so bad in them that I hate wearing them.
