The prototype backing plates that we have from Flex are 4 3/8". If the production plates will also be running 4 3/8" I would not recommend using them with 4 inch pads as they would hang over the edge. 5-5.5 inch pads would be ideal with this backing plate as we have them now.

Monday wasn't over yet and we wanted to give everyone a chance since a lot of machines were delivered on Monday.
