    Unofficial poll:Favorite leather cleaner/interior cleaner

You're correct, Setec. I am talking about that products predecessor. Nice to see that one too though. I've asked the 3 Mikescuteers...Phillips/Pennington/Stoops...(no disrespect intended with that comment) all of which I'm almost certain are older than me. No one remembers it and no one can...

    R.I.P Mr. Fuji

Fortunately...or maybe unfortunately...I can recall far too many more "wrastler's" before Mr. Fuji became famous...and I'm not that old. Or am I?

Dear Menzerna. Please stop changing your names. Or make it more intuitive!

No disrespect intended... Mr. Silvers said they were listening...but, "he without ears let him hear"...from those two posts I couldn't tell if they heard any of what they listened to. LOL! Getting the "why's" is great, but solutions are better. Fix it!--------Sounds like a fix is coming soon...

Used Meguiar's Ultimate Compoud to get rid of fingernail scratches

I've seen scratches on those areas where nothing short of 3M SD would remove them. Ughh!!! I've found it to finish quite well in those cases and not nearly as "rocks-n-a-bottle" fearing as some have made it out to be...on black no less. No issues at all using more modern 3M compounds and/or...

    Unofficial poll:Favorite leather cleaner/interior cleaner

I would NOT use M39 on leather. Not even sure if they recommend it, but I don't think so. Meg's makes other products to cover cleaning leather. Some dedicated, some not.

    Unofficial poll:Favorite leather cleaner/interior cleaner

Bob, In my experience with D103 (forget the number...and I still have some...talking about APC+) and OPC have given me fits with staining paints...as in not rinsing clean even after thorough rinsing. Had to compound...not polish, but compound...the stains off. One beige Tahoe...one black...

How many people are interested in learning how to wet sand?

Going to play on your words a bit, Mike. I'm interested in learning the "basics" as you put it. I want to see what you have to say about the "basics" because I can always learn something new. However, I'm more interested in what you might call 'the more advanced' techniques, mostly. As with...

    Bid a job

+1 on giving Buff Magic a try. Actually, 3M offers similar paste type marine products tailored specifically for the marine industry, as does a few other manufacturers like Aqua Buff...and all of them could actually be relabeled products produced by one company. Would be something to look into...

    Proper care of decontaminate mitt

Try sticking in the frig for an hour or so and see if what is stuck to it will come free. You could always try the freezer too.

    Spray Wax recommendation

Been wanting to get some Blackfire spray wax as I'm sure all the raves about the product are true, as they are for Optimum and D156 and the few others I have, but... With Duragloss products it's not how it looks when you're don't wiping...it's the insane amped up shine you see the next morning...

    First Time detailing an RV

Just in case some reading this into the future have zero experience using bleach... The only problem I have with recommending someone to use any kind of bleach, on any detail or other type of job, is not talking about proper precautions when using bleach. The possibilities of a person mixing...

    Finish Kare options

I've seen that car in person more than once, wearing FK1000P of course, and the pics don't do it justice!

    Safe polishing timeline

Fine clay bar, M7 pure polish (no abrasives to fill what you're seeing), then wax or seal...should work just fine too.

    Safe polishing timeline

Why not just use your DA more often combined with AIO/cleaner waxes like HD Speed, Meg's A12, McKee's 37 360, Optimum Poli-seal (awesome too), Mothers cleaner wax, etc. Use those with a soft finishing or sealant pad more often and use the best wash regimen as often as necessary too. That...

Rupes mark ii 15 stalling badly

Wow! That's the first time I've heard of long throw machines being that critical. Don't have those machines, or Mike's book on them, but this is the first time I've ever read anything like that on this forum...been here since 2011 and read a lot, so it must have slipped through the cracks on...

Pictures: Roadshow Class at Waxstock in England!

Re: Pictures from Autogeek's Competition Ready Roadshow Detailing Class at Waxstock in England! I like those "traps" in those buckets and would like a couple of those. Who makes them? Also, those extensions on those PE 8 compact rotarys' are pretty sweet as well. Would be nice if AG...
