Very nice car :xyxthumbs: To me, starting with 205 with a microfiber pad seems pretty aggressive, at least in the choice of pad, despite the 205 polish. Seems like an odd combination. Further, moving to D300 which is represented as a microfiber correction compound "if that doesn't work" seems...

Nothing wrong with the Harbor Freight idea and lots of threads here supporting it as an entry level machine. I haven't used the Chemical Guys pads but there are many reasonable options for 5.5" pads out there. You could try some Meguiars Ultimate Polish which is available OTC to see if this is...
