    DLux Tips

Yes x 3! Dlux is great stuff and is the only product I've found that really restores faded trim. RSurfer is 100% correct - you shouldn't really be buffing it off but rather removing "high spots", somewhat akin to using a coating.

    DLux Tips

I think maybe your issue is letting it cure too long - directions state 1 - 10 minutes and in my experience 10 minutes is even pushing it. Dlux isn't as easy to remove as wax but shouldn't be "gummy" if that's what I'm gathering from your description. Excessive product and / or curing too long...

    Wish me luck

Good luck! Not sure how your customer will be able to "judge" your paint correction capabilities based on your interior work? Maybe offer to demonstrate a test spot for 'em? Anyway, looking forward to results!

Finally ordered some items... so excited!

Congrats - you'll love 'em both. :xyxthumbs: 845 on my car at the moment and got attacked by a couple of bird bombs today. Always amazed at how easily it comes off with a little QD. FYI - two items is just the beginning....

5 or 6.5 inch hybrid pads?

Maybe not "necessary" but IMHO I don't think you'd regret it. Since the Flex is a forced-rotation machine, it's easier to have the machine "walk" on you with the bigger pads. I'd highly recommend the 5" hybrids! :xyxthumbs: Congrats on the new Flex!

Giveaway! BOSS G21 Long-Throw Polisher Deluxe Kit

Maybe this counts as a mini-review :) http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/90004-my-new-favorite-towels.html To be fair, I "won" the pink flex in a "prize in your order" promotion - so I probably don't deserve this. That said, I would accept. :)

Heck, here in Orlando we have guys that blow that crap ON to cars while landscaping. I definitely understand the frustration...
