How to get floor mats soft again?

Use the Upholstery cleaner in a spray bottle, and apply it first. Agitate, let dwell per instructions, etc. Use the Final Rinse or another Brand Rinse agent in the solution dispenser tank on your home extractor. The no-foam is really mainly for commercial extractors as it protects the...

How to get floor mats soft again?

Did you use a rinse agent? Here's my trio of products for interior extraction. Rinse agents serve several purposes, mainly neutralizing the pH of the cleaners and by doing so they will bring the soft plush back to fabrics. Especially important on modern vehicles where the carpet is poly-based.

Gyeon Mohs Evo and The Curse of the White Perl

Both are good. Cquartz SiC is what I found comparable but still lead with the new Mohs EVO lineup. Love it.

CQuartz UK and SIC Timing Question

1 layer of each, 1-2hrs apart. Usually after I'm done with UK 3, I get a water and then start on SiC. Combined they hold up well.

    Ceramic Coating applicators

Agree. 1-2. I usually flip the small thin ones on a block pad over and around half way through. 1-2 will work depending on how the temps and humidity impact the coating on the applicator as I work. If it gets to "draggy" I flip and then replace. I buy the larger orange CarPro Suede...

    2006 Porsche 911S

Looks great as always. Thin paint measurements. Worked on prior? Also, did you treat the top? If so, what products do you like? Lastly, love those wheels. Have always been a fan of that style Porsche wheel.

IPA wipe with terry towel caused tiny scratches

Likely the towels. Mix your own panel prep. 1/3 acetone and 2/3 blue windex. Perfect and won't harm anything. IPA in general isn't going to remove oils, etc. anyway.

CarPro Essence Primer - Cure time and IPA wipe down

I've always allowed 1-2 hours to cure but that includes the fact that by the time I'm done with a full vehicle, an hour has gone by. I take a short break then do my wipedown and apply the coating. Zero issues. There are occasions where I'll wait until next day. Coating bonds just fine.

Gyeon Mohs Evo and The Curse of the White Perl

I just used a bottle of the MOHS from the 2018 formula and it was just fine. My garage is climate controlled and they are in a cabinet. Just seal the lids up tight.

    21,031 users in 2016 to 2,400???

FB is convenience to me is that there are groups for anything and everything on there. All the social media insights in one place. Also, again, nearly everyone I interact with is on there. I REALLY hate the idea of supporting it just like I do not supporting Amazon, but there too, I do...

Gyeon Mohs Evo and The Curse of the White Perl

Mohs EVO is and has been my go-to coating on vehicles since it was introduced. I still use UK 3.0 and SiC but not nearly as often now. I keep 2-3 50ml bottles in my cabinet.

    21,031 users in 2016 to 2,400???

I've been using FB more and more. Most everyone I know, interact with, etc. has been. This year it's where I spend most of my social media posting. Loads of groups, etc. that just are more convenient, etc. PM me if anyone is interested in connecting there.

    Wheel cleaner vs Iron Remover

FWIW, I use Pinnacle's 3:1 wheel cleaner concentrate and find it's very good vs say Griots Gal size pre-mix. Cost effective. I use Meg's Iron remover and again, find it works VERY well and while I think all of them are overpriced, it's a good brand and I have learned to use most...

Failed PPF has mold under it. Contacted a shop. Need removal advice.

Hard to tell how it's going to remove due to its age and how it may have been installed. Steam is the way to go. Pull towards you not back over it. It should start to release. If it is brittle it won't budge and you'll know quickly. Can't hurt to try given the way it looks now...

    Tornador - Yay or Nay

Tornador is a game changer but it's not a replacement for a full extractor. The velocity vac is the way to go first as it will remove more dirt than ever possible without it and is a great way of reducing a lahar of muck inside your extractor. I use the black as a blower when doing matts or...

Please compare MOHS and CQuartz UK 3.0

The New MOHS EVO is super easy to apply. It flashes away nearly completely and buffs to a level clean slick surface with easy. It makes you work faster but it's worth it UK3.0 is fine, just a little more tacky when wiping as the carrier solvents don't flash completely away...
