The only advantage is it's smaller, lighter and convenient to not have to switch out your backing plate. It's nice to have, but not nearly as effective as a DA would be
Perfect example where 85rd would be used.
If you are doing a multiple step correction, then using SIP followed by 106FA might be a better option. Because of 106FA's ability to 'cut' better, it will remove more minor defects left from using the SIP.
These are the 2 products I would go with from Menz, they are extremely versatile and give fantastic results.

What a fantastic idea! I'm always trying new products out, sometimes I don't use a specific 'brand' because of a bad previous experience. This may change that.
