    Rinse Less Detail Cart

If it's a maintenance wash and you already have tire dressing on the tire (it's not completely bare and really dirty, the dressing doesn't have to be fresh and glossy) take a microfiber towel filled with your rinesless product of a choice and ring it out. Then use the damp towel to clean the...

Big Red Sponge vs Lake Country Wash Wedge for rinseless?

I have no idea. It's soft and very compressible without ripping/damaging the foam. One bucket. Dirt is encapsulated by the polymers in ONR and they also cover the surface to provide lubrication. You don't need two buckets because once released the dirt and dirty ONR that is captured inside the...

Do I Need A Foam Canon?

From my experience it's eye catching to potential customers but does nothing to help speed up the detail, in fact, it takes longer to foam everything down, and like you mentioned uses more product than needed. Or really wastes more product than needed, because the majority of the foam is on the...

    Hard to deal with customer

Unrealistic expectations. Seriously, if someone showed up at my house to wash anything for $25 you can't complain about the quality, let alone 3 days later, after x, y and z. Don't worry about OP. Just explain your thought process like you did in this thread to the customer and if they don't...

    Detailing a year round business?

I've had business year round in Maryland. While winter is slower than spring/summer/early fall, people still get interiors dirty, and they want the salt off. Plus, new coating installs on new cars bought around the holidays.

Giving maintenance care guide to customers

I ask every customer if they are interested in learning a DIFFERENT way to wash their vehicle. I teach them how to do a rinse-less wash on their vehicle. You would be surprised how many women take to the idea because of how much sense it makes! Clean a less dirty car, more frequently with...

    Price for detail

You're about to learn a lesson. Pricing details at the start is extremely difficult simply because you don't have enough experience. I still struggle on occasion almost 3 years in. Ask questions and really look the vehicle over before giving a price. It also helps to quote a range just in case...

My understanding is that you can't layer it. But you can apply it twice to ensure complete and even coverage.

Need Detailer in NOVA/ Virginia. Swirl Marks. New car

I could do it, if you're willing to drive. I'm a solid hour from Fairfax, but it's a good drive. I'm guessing you're interested in a correction and coating? Maybe Opti-Coat Pro? http://www.incrediblydetailed.com/opti-coat-pro/

    Opinion Of Website

I would use the pay feature or another type of drag and drop pay website builder. It's an investment in getting new customers. I would want the "best" site in front of them I could get. It's an extension of your business, if your website isn't professional then maybe your detailing business...

    Review: DP Turbo Car Dryer

I think a shoulder strap would be more cumbersome. You're only trying the car a few minutes, if you can carry groceries into the house you can use this without issues to dry your car. :xyxthumbs: Still figuring it out. Haven't had anything ground breaking yet.
