    Best "One Step" product

Blackfire One Step is one of several I use, and the one I reach for the most. But like Desertnate said, maybe just use a dedicated polish, and follow up with a dedicated sealant. Sonax PNS is easy to use, decent value, and lasts a decent amount of time. Not a slick feeling product, but a good...

    The Thread of Clay

N-914 is good stuff. I feel it's a bit more slick than ONR and use it often for rinseless and/or clay lube these days. Oh no. the black clay was pretty bad with marring. I didn't know what clay marring was back then. I was just starting off. I was able to remove some with a detail spray (at...

    The Thread of Clay

-I believe it was Poorboy's clay. I think they say it's a medium grade (why didn't i bring out the black one for this job? i don't know!) - Iron remover, as you noticed, was the BDX. Clay Lube is from Poorboy's as well. - I did mention going through almost an entire bottle of the clay lube, and...

    The Thread of Clay

In my experience, yes. I took on a Camry that sat at the dealership, near a rail road, for some recall work. It sat for a good while. When the owner asked me if I could detail it again. I didn't have to get too close to see the amount of iron deposits all over it. And when i felt it, sand...

    Stools

I didn't even know about these holders until a guy asked me to make him one (3d Printed). They are pretty neat, though, and I usually don't use a foam cannon/gun to wash, but the times I did, my foam gun would tip over regularly. Such an annoyance! Anyway. This last weekend, i was able to use...

    Stools

I got the red Autogeek version. I love it. On slanted driveways, I get an extension cord and place it around a few wheels. Kind of annoying, but helps to keep the stool from rolling down. Those are handy. I also made my own brush holder (work in progress) to be a smaller profile brush...

    Pad washer....worth it?

Just to add, this is the best video i found (I watched several) on how to "best" use it.

    Pad washer....worth it?

The one i'm using isn't a square grid. It's "ribs" are rounded and quite smooth. With proper technique, i don't see the pads' life being shortened. I do tend to use my cordless polisher with it edit: to add to the "bucket full of water factor" - the LC unit is "enclosed" so it's not like you...

    Pad washer....worth it?

i bought one on sale and love it. It does save me time. My old process involved partial hand cleaning. It was failry time consuming. New process using the Lake Country pad cleaner saves me a good amount of time.

    Favorite Final Wipe Down Product?

I was liking Jaxwax, until I ran into one time where it was leaving something behind. Couldn't quite get it off until I used Eraser. 3D Wipe works well enough, but the vinegar odor is quite strong. Haven't tried M122, but I'm sure I will at some point or another.

    Favorite Final Wipe Down Product?

I miss the older Eraser scent! One of the clients even said, "man, that stuff smells good!"

What has The Guz been up to? Big Brakes & Coatings

Honestly, the spin never bothered me. Having two 3401s, I didn't see a need to try a Mille. Might be smoother, maybe, but I have been plenty happy with the 3401, and now the XCE Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Gear driven is lovely. No worries about pad stall. Focus on paint, instead. Yeah yeah, you will get passed the "oddities" of the flex. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
