    Using D/A to Rotary Adapter

Maybe the 2" is too small for that throw. Hmm.

2 ways to cover the fresh air grill on a classic muscle car

I use both techniques. For smaller areas, tape. Such as the hood vents of a Mitsubishi EVO For larger areas, MF. Such as the air vent on the rear of older Porsches.

    Using D/A to Rotary Adapter

What throw is your DA? Myself, I probably wouldn't use an adapter on a long throw, but have used one fairly regularly (lately) with 3" backing plate on an 8mm throw DA. No issues. Haven't tried a 2"

Been using PNS lately. Did a few cars with it. Loving it and will buy more when I run out. Here's one that got a light polish (thin paint) and PNS was the LSP

Difference in cut for new Rupes Polishes

I'll go back and watch Mike's video later. Always looking to learn more, after all. Here's a thread I made based on another Rupes video. Scroll down the the slide, "Simply Better" in big green letters to get a chart as to how the Rupes polishes stack up...

Rupes 15 III vs. Gear Driven DA’s

I can't imagine if anything is needed in detailing. I'm not looking around, but 350 seems pretty good for the two tools. The big GG also has them. I do carry my GG6 as a back-up tool on my mobile jobs! With both backing plates (5" and 3")

As with anything, test first. You may need to shorten that if you're in a hot/humid environment

    AIO Cleaner/Wax Users

"Clean and shiny" is what I hear quite a bit. Rupes Uno Protect is pretty good so far. Three cars. It's best used indoors. You an leave it on the paint longer that way. Outdoors, on a warm, sunny day, I took the time from 20 min before wipe-off, down to about 10. It helped make wipe off...

Rupes 15 III vs. Gear Driven DA’s

I was going to suggest the same. Or even "find" a new GG6 so he can get a 3" plate and pads.

Sealant wax on top of already applied Sealant

No problems at all. I absolutely love Blackfire's Wet Ice Over Fire on the wife's Kia. When I did her's, it was pretty much like you did: BF Paint Cleaner, BF Sealant, but topped with BF Midnight Sun paste wax. Washes consisted of occasional Blackfire Waterless, but mostly Blackfire Rinseless.
