Polishing gelcoat and preparing for ceramic

Nice boat; you must chomping at the bit. I have been surfing all summer off a friends Mastercraft xT 23, what a wave. This senior citizen would love a ride on a Malibu. But getting back to polishing. I am only 2 years into detailing and mainly cars but recently worked on my Cobalt 242 to remove...

Review: RUPES NEW D-A COARSE Foam Pads - Boat Polishing

I still have about 5 of the original Blue (unopened) and 10 used. Looks like I need to get some of the newer version for polishing up the Cobalt when it comes out for winter storage(1 month left in the season as the docks come out around the lake up here in NE PA, so sad)

New truck and noob to coating

What Paul said. I just did the BF ceramic on my F150, only one coat. It’s a lot of truck to prep n coat. One day for prep next day for coating (all done indoors except for wash)

Polishing every other year, unless you are getting rid of the vehicle. Just wash routinely n the shine will show

    Best Dash Cams?

Same here would like to hear about best models out there. I recently got pushed to side of road by car in my lane and had to swerve and of course I caught a softball size rock which put a hole in my oil pan for my M4. Good thing only a few minutes from home. Now car stuck in Park and can’t get...

Review: Wolfgang PROFI Ceramic Detail Spray

I will have to try the WG Profi spray on my M4 which is metallic grey. BMW,s are a love hate relationship. My BMW is currently stuck in Park and won’t go into Neutral for towing. I put the car on blocks yesterday to get to the unlocking mechanism under the tranny but the BMW tech gave me wrong...

    WGDGPS/Fuzion observation.

Someone needs to do a coating test against bird bombs ( maybe some prepackaged stuff). I have 5 cars with 4 different coatings and I must say the ceramic coatings ( Blackfire, Exo4) have held up better to bird bombs compared to PNS and WGDGS (Collinite faired pretty good)
