Rinse-less Wash that doesn't smell like Jolly Ranchers!

Are you guys sticking your face in the products? I can't smell anything I use, just by using it. Except for Stoners glass cleaner.

I appreciate the offer, but I just put her winter coat on so I'm done til spring (except basic maintenance). HOPEFULLY I'll be able to turn it in (lease) before spring and get the white, or silver, one I want. Have a great time in Vegas.

Why do people not take care of nice cars?

Black car owner fixing your post :xyxthumbs: I read, on another forum, a post about taking care of cars. Someone said he details his leased vehicle a couple times a year. Someone else asked why anyone would take care of something that "is not theirs". I responded, that as a driver of a...

    Your Wheel Choice

Some stock wheels are nice, some aren't. I like the wheel to contrast with the car: dark wheels (black) on light cars, chrome/light wheels on dark cars. Some of the larger tire retailers have an option on their website where you can put in your car model, with color, then pick wheels that you...

What is your method for using a drying aid?

Yeah, I'm not either. 10 towels just for drying (another 10 or so for the wash). I guess water doesn't run off my car like it does yours :(

What is your method for using a drying aid?

So your car is already dry at this point? When I do a rw, I also use D156 as a drying aid, but probably use up to 10 towels in the drying process. Spay a couple of spritz' on a still wet panel, then dry.

What is your method for using a drying aid?

So you use the same towel, to spread the D156, for the whole car? I might have to try this method.

How tall are you guys and what is your ideal height for detailing.

I'm 5'6". I have a rolly stool that also doubles as a step stool. I only use the step when doing the roof, and the stool for doing the sides, wheels and tires. I wouldn't detail without it.

    Thoughts on Stoners More Shine

I recently started using Megs Hyper Dressing. I like it cause you can dilute it to you desired shineness. It is water based, so it doesn't last long in the rain. They say it can be used on trim and rubber also.

    Better than Rain-x?

I used it on my wife's car Saturday. Drove through some rain on Sunday, the water did bead up and run off the windshield (doing highway speeds), but still had to use the wipers some.

    Good Idea or Not?

I like putting a coat, or two, of Colinite 845 on the cars before winter. My wife's car is white, and I remember last year it was hard to see once it was on and flashed. Would putting a few drops of food coloring, in the bottle, affect anything? And no, I haven't been drinking yet.
