Depends how dirty the car is. If it has been through a bug storm or covered by dirt from a trip through the desert then yes. Can't stand bugs covering the front of my vehicle and even thought gunk will get kicked up from driving in the rain it will still be better than not washing at all.

Really love Wolfgang Uber Rinseless. Use it as clay lube, occasional quick detailer and of course for rinseless wash. Can't remember who but a regular on the forum uses it a s a window cleaner, must admit I tried it and liked it.

In addition to any pretreatment, extra soiled microfibers should be placed in a bucket to soak for a few hours. I'm with frank p, if they are too dirty toss them, not worth the possible harm they can do to the washer or by cross contamination.

Used Stoners for years until someone gave me a bottle of what is now McKee's 37 glass cleaner, loved it but it is much more expensive. For someone who does this for a living probably to costly but if you only take care of a few cars would suggest giving McKee's, Pinnacle or Wolfgang a try...

Used ONR for couple years then tried Wolfgang Uber Rinseless. Uber is much slicker, the clay just glides over the paint. Use a Kwazar spray bottle to ensure coverage, could not be happier.
