Sounds normal to me. The kid still picks on me for the day a lady bug walked across the car and left little tracks. Of course grabbed the QD out of the trunk. Looked at me and said "removing lady bug foot prints now aren't you?"

Hard to tell without any pics but sounds like the same issue I had with my first attempt with Dr. Color Chip. Try wiping down with IPA and reapplying wax or sealant. If that does not work try buffing it out. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
