    Taxes - per detail job?

This is a tough one. I bet a lot of detailers on here only accept cash or check. (Hint, they are probably not paying their taxes) You have to follow your accountants advice if you want to do this thing legally. Others will have some more pointed advice, but I would listen to your...

    Maintaining Opti-Guard/Coat

I have OC 2.0 on my Acura for 18 months. You can use a spray wax if you want. It works out ok, but is not really needed. Some people use ReLoad and really like it, too. You will still need to clay at least twice a year. I used the Pinnacle clay and had no issues. you still have to watch...

    Most regretted detailing product purchase

Where do I begin? The price, the durability, or the looks? It looks no better than your average wax. It is as durable as a wet paper towel. The price is also too high.

I have some Opti Coat 2.0 There is about 12 ccs left out of a total of 20 ccs. This is enough to do a large car/truck. I need some microfiber drying towels. Open to anything else except any waxes or sealants. All of my vehicles are opti coated.

New car - to seal or to wax?

I would reccommend Opti Coat. It is the most durable coating ever made.

Would you opticoat if you were me?

You should definitely do it. I did both my cars and It has been great. You can still do the occasional wax, but you will have much better protection and easy maintainence.

    New Driveway.

Asphalt or concrete? If it is concrete, you can resurface it, but you may be better off getting some bids and hiring someone to do it. Concrete driveways need to be at least 4 inches thick in most cities to meet code.

Ugh. Guy backed into my car at a stop sign

This is true. I was rear ended at a stop light by a sloppy fat woman in a rental car in Pittsburgh two years ago. The cops made us exchange information and refused to write a report. What a bunch of lazy bums!. To sum things up, her insurance was found to be expired, she stole the...

OC 2.0 Maintenance and high spot question

You do not need to do anything specific for Opti Coat. I like to top it monthly with Optimum Spray Wax. Other people like to top it with ReLoad or Permanon. Whatever you put on it will not likely last long due to the properties of OptiCoat.

Anyone use MF detergent and an HE washer to wash their towels?

Enough said. If Mike P. uses Tide free and clear, it should be good enough for the rest of you. Stop overthinking this and save yourself some money.

Anyone use MF detergent and an HE washer to wash their towels?

MF cleaner is another one of the great scams of this decade. Just use a little regular detergent and you will be fine. Stop overthinking this.

Advances in hydrophobic chemicals, detailing applications?

How much to charge to detail a snap on truck?!?!

I would say about $ 227.50 for that type of truck. Why are you asking people here? You really should know your own pricing and stick to it.
