It is a good wax, but not real durable. You would be much better off with the collinate waxes. Unless you have money to burn.

Hi, You are making some assumptions here. There are quite a few people on here who prefer durability. I am challenging your assumptions that most people strip their cars every month. To the original poster, go with a durable sealant and add a long lasting wax. Do not overthink it.

Respectfully, Opti Coat will allow you to top it. It just doesn't last longer than a couple of weeks. You can still wax, but your paint will be locked in and protected. Some people top it with ReLoad, Permanon, and other things. You will save money by not buying a bunch of subpar...

Opti Coat. It is bashed quite often around here, but it works just as advertised.

Coatings are the future. Waxes will always have a place, but coatings will be reducing market share for waxes for years to come.

Wet sanding seems waaaaay over the top. I am no pro, but you should probably just use some more aggressive compound, as opposed to wet sanding. How old is the car and what condition is the paint?
