I use my APC diluted usually 5/6:1. Then Mothers VLR. I don't have much experience with other products though..

Great question, IMO. I used to do it myself, and still see a lot of people doing it.

I've done the iron over a towel, but that was on their older leather. 2007/08. With the B8, I'm not sure if the composition of the leather is the same.

I've always done them by hand as well. I've been looking at the 3M drill attachment here lately, and I'm pretty intrigued by it.

I've been using Poorboy's World Bug Squash. Apply, leave set 30s, and wipe off. I've had bugs on cars that have been on there for years, and it cleans them right off. I've tried the Mothers Waterless Wash & Wax, and it works wonderfully! Newer product, and it's great.

I've found out that I'll be needing a couple of these more than I thought. I think they'd be great on the interior to get into those hard to reach spots. I commonly find myself trying to dig into space with my hands that I cannot reach, and well, you guessed it.. It doesn't turn out so nicely...

How do you get the jambs clean with a HP rinse without getting water in the vehicle? Is there an invisible wall they have for sale?! :P

It looks a hell of a lot better than it did! The only honest answer I'd give the customer is, that if he wants clean carpet, he's going to have to replace it. Then put mats over it, and coat it with a protector.

I see guys quite frequently around here using a pressure washer. I've always been taught not to go that route. Electrical connections and such. I've always thought steam cleaning or by hand is best. No?
