yes but the Crimson Hydrotech is a finishing pad as well. I dont understand the 5days..if I wipe the area with my griots paint prep wont that show me the results instantly and remove all fillers as well.

if someone wants to review it with another pad be my guest..I only use Hydrotech Low pro pads on my car because thats what works for me and thats all I buy for it. But comparing the 2 with the SAME pad shows that 85 still finishes down better..so if I put OPT on the black pad and it finish down...

it is a little oily..you def can see it smearing all over when you throw a light at the paint. Thats why I always wash the car after buffing it out with 85

i only use the Lake Country HT low profile pads..so thats why i am staying with the Crimson and 85RD because its a perfect combo with my car with my Griots machine.

Yep I cleaned it off. Cause when I first looked at it with my light before the pic I could see all the polishing oil left smearedaround

with how good all their other stuff is I think they should look into making a polish for soft paints like this because I bet if they get it right it will be great.

I am sure it will finish great on most cars it just doesnt finish well on super soft paint.

i have had it for over a year..its battery doesnt hold a full blast of light long..you cant hold the trigger for more then 30sec at a time before it starts to dim..but if you let it sit for a few mins its just as bright..I have gone weeks without charging it and it still shines well for short...

not bad job for a DIY..I just use this Shop Stanley Halogen 1 Million Series Rechargeable Spotlight at Lowes.com I hate using it though because it shines so bright I see stuff that you cant even see on the brightest of days under the sun..so its more of a headache then anything.

nothing..I have no need for something with that much cut now..my car is perfect and its a garage queen..so Menzerna 85RD is all i use on it..and if I ever did need some serious cut I would reach for my Megs MF cutting pad and the megs MF compound
