What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

You know, it's a really good drying aid. Probably the easiest to work with spray product I've used. Leaves a very, very slick surface. Like Beadmaker. But I got it because it sounds pretty flexible. Things like: -6 to 8 weeks of hydrophobicity -Quck and easy wheel "protectant" -Dilutable for...

Pinnacle Signature 2 wax vs Liquid Soveran

I have Souveran paste wax and have used it at times on my DD. It is legitimately the easiest LSP I have ever used. Buffs off so easy, it's not funny. At any rate, I'd be suprised if you would notice a visual difference between any of your 3 choices. If you want someone to approve your wax...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

GSF and DP Brazilian Carnauba waxed the '16 Tuscon Sport. Wax was pretty good, think I put it on a bit thick. We'll see how it does with pollen and waterspotting! Playing with chemical storage on the garage peg-board. Trying to get all my commonly used items within quick reach:

    Foam cannon suggestion

Your product will likely tell you on the label. Or just trial and error or the glug glug method. Earlier today I used some Gloss Shop soap that called for 1-2oz in foam cannon and it was marvelous.

    Foam cannon suggestion

I started out with one of the cheap Amazon $25 jobs, thinking "its just foam, how much different could it be"? Couldn't have been more wrong. Don't cheap out, you'll just be disappointed. You'll basically get 2 recommendations: Griots Brilliant Finish Foam Cannon MTM PF22 I settled on the...

HELP! What paint protection should I choose?

You already have basically the best traditional sealants. You could look at Sonus Ion, which is basically a traditional sealant amped up a bit. Its super super easy to use. Probably the easiest wipe off I've ever experienced. I have recently purchased the Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Spray Coating...

Other hobbies or past times outside of detailing

Hah, nice. Sure is a nostalgic piece, all metal and pretty stout. This one is a 92A1, with the rail and a weird European threaded barrel. Added the Wilson Combat thin grips amd it really is comfy. Can certainly outshoot me.

Good eye! It is indeed a Ferris IS600Z, so not as beastly as yours! Sadly, I did just trade it in on a Grasshopper 124 41" with grass vacuum. It's a bit smaller and more practical for my needs. Not nearly as comfy, but leaves a better cut than the Ferris, strangely

Other hobbies or past times outside of detailing

Haha I love your interpretation. Technically its a commercial mower that's complete overkill for my yard. And, I'd be lying if I said I didn't stage my beloved Rotring 600 .07mm pencil in that pic :D

Rotten egg smells in new products?

You're picking the worst smelling things... As a fellow smell snob, those class of chemicals you typically just have to ignore it, tell yourself it doesn't matter and move on.
