    Carpro triple threat

This is interesting! Sounds like Essence/Essence+ you can top with... waxes at least? What about a traditional sealant? What about a light coating, something like Wolfgang Uber Ceramic?

Metrovac Vac N Blo: is this a reasonably competent vacuum?

Thanks for posting that! I had just stumbled across that one too. CFM is higher, and you can do wet vacuuming, which is nice. Anyone know what the hose on the Metrovac Vac N Blo is like? It looks REALLY nice, like a softer, flexible, rubbery material. Less like a harder, stiffer plastic like...

Question about Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

Age wise, its highly likely that its just fine. As long as it re-integrates when you shake it up, you're good to go. I've got some thats at least that old and its good to go. I'd be tempted to just apply another coat over the existing one, if you're really worried about it. What was your...

Metrovac Vac N Blo: is this a reasonably competent vacuum?

I did find this option, which looks interesting: Garage Vac PRO – Manufacturer of VacuMaid Central Vacuum Systems Doesn't look like some of the attachments are quite as varied, and doesn't seem like it can be used as a blower, but thats not a huge deal. Can't find the CFM either.

Metrovac Vac N Blo: is this a reasonably competent vacuum?

Metrovac Vac N Blo vs ProLux Garage vac (Title Edit) I hate vacuuming car interiors. Always have. Traditionally have used whatever shop vac we had, but the hoses suck, I hate wheeling it around, dealing with the cord etc etc. Couple years ago I got a $70 Ryobi cordless ~2gal shop vac which...

    Detail-Division

looks like they have some unique colored bucket inserts from Detail Guardz. Too bad most of them are out of stock. I do like their clear buckets. Looks like they are available cheaper from kitchen/restaurant supply stores though. Wasn't familiar with this outlet, thanks for sharing!

Favorite Clay Bar (or similar) Product?

Really want to try the newish TRC synthetic clay block thing. After not being super impressed with the nanoskin block, I'm just a bit gushy. Guess I'm still old school, as I really like the Mother's yellow clay that comes with the Showtime detailer (love that smell).

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

Shoot. I was hoping the smell was tweaked, and maybe slightly less prone to light streaking. Trying to remember what they said the changes were? Where'd you get it that has v5 in stock?

Are you a detailing purger or a hoarder

Im more of a hoarder but im trying to work on that. I tend to hoard the items that I got when I first got into detailing that you cant get any more or have good memories about or got a good deal on. Yeah. Its a mental issue. But, products have gotten so much better nowadays, more efficient...

    Water spots

Depending on what the water spots are composed of But, usually the concern is the minerals in the water being left over after the water evaporates. These minerals can and will etch into the paint/cleacoat, damaging the vehicle.

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

I did a test of N914, DIY Rinseless, and Absolute side by side on the same vehicle. My observation was that Absolute (Polymer based) really cleaned very well, the dirt really "stuck" to the wash media, and wiped off the paint very nicely. The downside was that dirt tended to stay attached to...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

That was mine! 17 Rinseless Washes Reviewed: pictures, charts, smell tests, and pseudo-science Yes, I tested for visible evidence of polymers, and sure didn't see any in DIY Rinseless. Maybe they are there, but it acted nothing like any of the other options that state they have polymers. It...
