Those look pretty corroded/oxidized. You could try a good aluminum cleaner and a stiff brush, but I think the amount of time spent cleaning this one up might not be cost effective, since the customer might not be willing to spend that much (assuming this is a paying job). If this a labor of love...

I like CG Citrus + Gloss or Honeydew Snowfoam, depending on what I am doing. I just washed my first 2 cars with Optimum no Rinse, the verdict is still out on that one. The first one I washed using the Lake Country sponge (hated it), the second one I used MF towels (much better).
