What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Klasse I would love to hear how that wheel cleaner works. Hopefully you have a friend with some nasty wheels to try it out on. I’d imagine yours will be simple spray and rinse. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Two questions about white paint

I would imagine that it is likely that most white paints have titanium dioxide. Yes, titanium dioxide does make the paint hard. Are all white painted vehicles considered to have hard paint? Yes, and no. Yes, if is single stage white paint. Single stage does not have clear applied over it...

Engine bay dressing-- what do you use?

Yeah. It’s ok, but never excited me enough to continue buying it. Probably why I was using it just to use it up. For quick engine details for customers I really like using a spray wax as I dry after I blow most of the water off. I really like using Meguiars Shine As You Dry Quik Wax. Easy and...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I was using my friends 250lbs version yesterday while helping him do some painting. Seems like a good platform. I have a similar Werner platform of my own, and I might like this one a little better. It’s seems a little lighter than the Werner and it folds flatter. I believe the Werner bench...

Creeper from Griot’s or Speed Master?

I always here that Griots has great customer service. Here’s another option if you didn’t find it. Store detailing supplies, car waxes, polishes, towels, and wash bucket on the Detailer's Rolling Creeper. I don’t have any experience with either, I just use a bucket. Sent from my iPhone...

    Waterless wash, techniques for SPEED?

I think combining doing rinseless wash with a presoak is pretty safe. No real need to use two different products or dilutions, just mix up say 3 gallons of rinseless and pour some of into to a pump sprayer and drop a bunch of towels into your wash bucket. It’s often referred to as the “Gary Dean...

    Souveran or Fusion....I can't decide.

I have not tried Fusion but Souveran is such a pleasure to use. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Anyone buy straight d-limonene and cut it for use as an APC ?

I use a product that is not quite straight d-Limonene. It has some others stuff mixed it to make it more useful as a cleaner, and an emulsifier. I don’t use it much, but it does come in very handy when you need it. I mostly use it on carpets for oil and grease stains at ratio around 3-4oz...

Gilmour: Thank you AG for adding another quality American manufacturer

This is the one that I have been using for two seasons now. This one is mostly metal with some hard rubber securely attached. The trigger rubber has ripped but it still works fine. I don’t mess with the flow control as it never seemed to do much. I like the click trigger design because...

Gilmour: Thank you AG for adding another quality American manufacturer

I just wanted to say thanks AG for adding another American made product. Gilmoure Sprayers The Gilmour Swivel Connect Heavy Duty Water Nozzle I have the old version click sprayer(no swivel) and one of their hoses and have been pleased with them both. My only complaint for the click sprayer...

    ONR with Collinite 845

I’d be surprised if ONR could strip any wax at a rinseless wash ratio. It could be masking from the polymers left behind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A rookie question about a stubborn material issue.

I have never tried this but sugar dissolved in water is supposed to dissolve, or at least weaken concrete. Not sure if it will work for your type of mud. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking for the longest lasting sealant. Not necessarily the best look

I agree with Tony, Ultima Paint Guard Plus! It seems to have good durability and is so simple and easy it it to use. I should try their Acrylic Wax but I’ve bought the Acrylic wash and haven’t used it much. It’s a good product, just have other regulars that I’m used to and have bulk of. Same...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I was serious about the SONAX Fallout Cleaner (not Remover as I said earlier), it actually has a pleasant smell to it for those of you that do not want the stink but want a quality product. Shortly after sprayed Couple of minutes later No staining or problems rinsing. Seems to have...

Need tire cleaner recommendations megs super degreaser out of stock

I’m with UncleDavey on LATA. Cheap and effective. I usually usually use it around 3-4:1, add more if it doesn’t cut it. I have rarely used it full strength.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

That’s what I was thinking, but they are pretty close depending. I’d imagine it be much easier to put a consistent time down with the Merc, but you might have more “fun” trying in the Camaro. I’m not sure on the parts, other than the obvious appearance pieces. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

I just cleaned them again and then used Opti-Seal pretty heavily. The tires have 3 coats of McKees Tire Coating. The exhaust sounds good but very subtle. He lives across the street from my customer with the ZL1 Camaro and I perked up when I heard him start it the other day. The Camaro is pretty...
