I have never had a problem with this product either. Works great, good price. Compare the MSDS sheets for this product and 3D Orange88 Citrus Degreaser. I usually do not use it straight, but 2:1-4:1.

Road paint is a pain. Even the Exnit that I mentioned needs to dwell. Definitely not just spray on and wipe right off. The plastic razor blades do help too. But of course then it probably wouldn’t hurt to polish after.

Basically just sand, prep wipe, tape and mask, prime and paint. You may want to tape off any surrounding paint if you will contact it during sanding. You could probably use 220 grit sand paper and I believe the primer and paint would cover any sanding marks. Just pick a name brand paint...
