    Drills to use.

I always thought a cordless 90 degree angle drill would be good for this. I never have tried one though.

Why Do Folks Use Multiple DA Polisher?

For me, and my small mobile business, I have the Duetto and the HF DA. I use the Duetto for all major polishing and compounding, and often edge it for the smaller areas where I can. I am mostly doing quick AIOs and not show cars. I have the other DA as a backup, for sanding and polishing...

    Steam cleaning/shampooing

So you made yourself a DYI extractor? I’ve been thinking of doing something similar with a garden pump sprayer and my shopvac. I would like to see some pics if possible.

Best method for removing McKee’s Glass Restoring Polish?

I’ve only used it a time or two. I don’t remember if I tried to buff it off dry, but I do remember using D114 to remove it.

    Sticky Cobra clay bar mitt

EagleOne. I think they quit making them, now I’ll have to buy some other off brand. I did just use it again today on a Toyota and it didn’t seem to mar at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Favorite beer, if not a beer drinker, favorite beverage in general.

I think it’s been over a year since I’ve had some bourbon. Been much longer than that since I’ve had some great bourbon. Mmmm...Bookers

    Good second-rate MF drying towel

Also check out the “Outlet Store” on Autogeek’s site. I bought two of the 25X36 gray WW with pockets that are priced $6.99 at the moment. I’m not a fan of the pockets, but it’s been a good towel. They have another WW a couple above it it that’s a little smaller and is $4.99. That is if...

    Sticky Cobra clay bar mitt

I accidentally ran my two clay mitts through the wash the other day and now they are sticky again. They also went through the dryer. I about freaked out at first but they were not stuck to anything. One was a little folded against itself but pulled apart fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

General Purpose AIO Cleaners For Car Use (Newbie Question)

I use two different cleaners like this. For light cleaning, inside or out, I use a rinseless wash. I’m still using D114 but will switch to McKees N914 once I run out because D114 has been discontinued. For wheels and tires and general exterior cleaning I use and over the counter APC diluted...

Fabric Guard 303 NOT for Interiors

Interesting, thanks for the post. I believe you can use Ultima Interior Guard Plus on fabric. Ultima Interior Guard Plus 4 oz., interior protectant, rubber & vinyl protectant, rubber dressing I do use this occasionally, but I don’t think I’ve ever tried it on fabric.

Dried Milk in carpets, need advice.

You may want a protein stain remover that has enzymes. You can usually find them at pet supply stores, possibly at the grocery store too. When I did a search, one the first things that came up was to avoid heat( possibly steam) during every stage of the process. I don’t have to much experience...

Best recommended clea-rinsing car wash? (leave nothing behind)

Not really a “soap” user here, but besides HyperWash, I usually see Optimum’s Car Wash recommend for a good soap. Price looks decent. I use Rupes M101 Shampoo every once in a while and it is nice, but it’s pricey.

    Trim Protectant That Doesn't Stain

I have never had the problem with the three listed above. Of the three I like McKees the best. UTTG can be a just a little finicky I believe. They won’t run and the trim will look just as good after a rain.

Help & Advice Wanted For My First DA Polishing System

Where are you in Va? Maybe I could stop by and let you check out some pads and tools. Duetto and HF DA. Do some testing, or tag team it for a couple bucks. I don’t think I really have any for OTC polishes/compounds. If you have, or pick up something you want to try, we can do that too.
