Coatings Not Needed On Modern Clear Coat Paints?

On the other hand, that vid did lead me to - Trimbrite Bodyguard Paint Protection Film at Cabela's. Stuff looks interesting and is a physical barrier. I wonder how hard it is to remove the stuff...

Coatings Not Needed On Modern Clear Coat Paints?

I wonder what that sacrificial barrier does? I've noticed that no matter what lsp I apply I get nice water beading, but, that layer doesn't prevent road film from sitting on the paint after driving in the rain, for example. I don't notice that it's easier to remove bug splatter (without a lsp...

    Cleaning Door Jambs

I keep mine in good shape simply by washing them at each car wash...one of my last steps and I just use the wash mitt and then use the mist setting on the nozzle to rinse away without soaking the interior. What I find most annoying in this area is the water spotting. My 300C has a wide sill...

Goof Off vs 3M Adhesive Remover vs Brake Cleaner for removing sticky stuff

Goo B Gone - soak a clean cloth and press it on to the residue and let it soak/adsorb for a few moments. Try a pastic razor blade if the surrounding surface is clean. Otherwise, try using some fishing line back-n-forth and so on. I bit the bullet and rubbed at it with a MF cloth soaked in Goo...

    What a game!!

All those youngsters playing football saw a great great lesson yesterday....tackle with your arms. That Saints DB uses his arms rather than trying to upend the WR ends the game right there. What an incredible end to game. But the sad part is that I had nearly zero interest in it or the NFL...

Looking for a quality drying towel

I really like the PFMs, too. At 16x16 I think theyre perfect. I have a larger MF towel from CG and find it awkward to use compared to the 16x16 PFM. I did just try my new CG Greay Matters waffle weave and wow, what a soaker upper. Did our whole Pacifica with a PFM and a Grey Matter.

Best value/performance right now on AG?

Thanks, Bobby...the BF one step...the product page indicates that it lays down a sealant. Is this same type of sealant like a Megs UFF or a coating like McKee's? Not familiar with "sealants", per se, and type of product it is. In other words, sealant like more durable than wax, but not as...

Best value/performance right now on AG?

Question about APC vs Degreaser vs Cleaner/Degreaser

I've been considering using either OPC or Megs APC diluted to clean my interior leather and interior plastics, but am not sure if that's wise. So, now I'm considering whether to buy McKee's total interior cleaner in lieu of the APCs. Would appreciate any advice...

McKee's 37 N-914 Rinseless Wash CarPro Iron X Iron Remover 500 ml Meguiar's D166 Ultra Polishing Wax McKee's 37 Total Interior Cleaner I think this would round out what I have now which is Meg UC, UP, UW, and UFF along with Griot's HD wheel cleaner for the exterior.
