Advice regarding Torq polishers - Keep or Sell

Thought maybe demand would be higher closer to Spring up here in Portland where it rains from October through March, lols... And I opened the boxes to verify contents, so they're being sold as new then...

Advice regarding Torq polishers - Keep or Sell

Word. Now I am wondering which to sell, if not both, and should I wait until end of winter to sell them?

Advice regarding Torq polishers - Keep or Sell

Ok....I love my GG6 and won't be buying another product. The price mistake at Amazon I got the 2 Torqs, each a kit with pads and chemicals, for under $15...total.

Advice regarding Torq polishers - Keep or Sell

I got an incredible deal (price mistake) at Amazon for two Torq polishers - the Torq 10FX and the Torq ToqX. I currently have a GG 6 with 6" and 5" plates and have been thinking about buying a 3" backing plate for it to use smaller pads. Now that I have these 2 additional polishers, I'm...

    Testing Meguiar's ENDURANCE Tire Gel

Here in Portland, I find that All Season fares so-so in the rain...that is, it looks great after it rains if the car wasn't driven, but once driven, it fades quickly, especially on exterior trim.

    Testing Meguiar's ENDURANCE Tire Gel

I use both All Season Dressing and Endurance Tire Gel...no contest here in wet and rainy Portland, OR...Endurance easily outlasts All Season. Also, I threw on 2 coats of Endurance on to my tires last night waiting 30 minutes between the coats and drove 100 miles today with no sling at all. My...

Issue with ech2o and reload as drying aid

Hadn't thought of it that way... Ironically, this past weekend I did look inside one of the attachment and it was dirty. Didn't think to inspect the hose.

Issue with ech2o and reload as drying aid

Lugging around a 16 gal shop-vac in my driveway isn't very hard at all. But I'm just a weekend warrior detailing my personal cars. Metro across looks cool and all, but I want to spend my money on multi-purpose equipment and products.

Issue with ech2o and reload as drying aid

Yeah, I've just started using my shop-vac to blow out the doors, handles, gas, seams between panels and the hood, roof, and trunk lid. I'm gonna change from UQW because, like UWW, just not as economical as other products. I just have to pick the product now, lols.

Issue with ech2o and reload as drying aid

Thanks for this...love this advice and exactly what I was looking for... Question, though, do you blow dry the car first to remove most of the water or just rinse then start drying? I'm finishing off my Megs UWW soap and will be buying Hyperwash. I need to find a replacement for my Megs UQW...

    Testing Meguiar's ENDURANCE Tire Gel

This is also my go-to for tire dressings. I stopped using it after getting Megs All Season Dressing because it was easy to apply to our daily drivers. Not sure why I stopped other than I love the smell of the All Season Dressing. I've never had sling from Endurance, though and I slime it on...

    Wax & Sealant longevity

Yeah, I've noticed this myself...after the first few washes, the sheeting and beading is different. But that gloss, too. I guess that's why I am trying to find a nice combo where I put on a wax or sealant and then be able to top it easily and quickly to have that fresh, shiny look without...

    Wax & Sealant longevity

Thanks, SWETM... I'm still trying to figure out how to properly layer products, for example, UW then UFF.

    New DA polisher question

I have UC, UP, and UW and also experienced that UP was challenging to wipe off, but then I figured out that I was trying to work too large an area. Took me a while to figure out that I couldn't work the same size area with UC and UP as I do with UW, lols. OTOH, I also found it hard to remove...

Does using something like Iron-x strip away any wax or sealants? I would have to suppose so...

    My BMW 328I 2014 - Engine Bay

All of those exposed wire connections are safe to get wet... I'd cover that alternator with a plastic bag or tin foil just to be safe, although when I haven't nothing has ever happened. Stick to regular hose pressure, no power washing (though, if the underside of your hood has that fabric...

    Wax & Sealant longevity

Thanks, guys...I ask because I just dont have time to re-applying waxes/sealants every 3-4 weeks.but don't want to outlive the wax/sealant, if you get my drift. The Megs UW...I think Ive read it's a hybrid sealant? Is it or is it a sealant?

    New DA polisher question

I clay 1x per year on both a garaged car and a parked outside car. In between, following a wash, I go straight to a polish. But I have been thinking about this lately. I understand that I need to remove the last of the was/sealant before applying new wax/sealant. Generally, I use a dish...

    Wax & Sealant longevity

I watched one of Mike's videos yesterday re: application of sealants. During that video (the one with the Yellow Charger), Mike indicated that waxes can last up to 3 months and sealants up to a year or even more. This more or less aligns with what I have read here at AG and has been my rule of...
