Which compound are you working with?

You cant compare Ultimate Compound in terms of cut to M101, theres just no comparison. M101 is a heavy cut, more than M105. UC is more "newbie" friendly because it contains more oils to lubricate the surface, giving you a longer working time.

You ever wonder if it was your technique causing the dust? I never had any Meguiars product dust on me other than M105. Which is why I only use M101 now. I find most new users over work many of the SMAT products, thinking loger working times will somehow give them a better finish. With that...

Hi Ted, Ultimate Compound is a great compound that has a good ammount of cut for an OTC product. However It doesnt have the cut anywhere near what 101 has. You can also get 101 in smaller sampler bottles offered by other vendors online. Just FYI
