Video: Trying P&S Bead Maker for the first time.

If used as a stand alone does it actual protect from UV and contamination? We know OCW has patented UV protection. And we know Mckees fast wax is a copy of that product. 303 also claims it which we mostly would trust too Many others just say “polymer protection “ or similar wording Most...

    Trim restoration

Some work better in certain situations than others. Would use the Ultima, Wolfgang or Mckees over black wow. It doesn’t really wow me. 303 has one that is reasonably priced now too 303 Automotive Trim Restorer Protectant Here was a test done 4 years ago with black wow included. Spoiler alert...

    Sealant comparison

Good stuff my friend. Definitely opens some eyes towards that DG931. I love easy and long lasting especially when it’s that inexpensive Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s normal on a ram. Anything you do is thinning out the clear coat so just keep that in mind Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Applying CQuartz over a few weekends

Agreed. One coat will be fine. It “may” not last as long but there are sooo many variables it’s not a big deal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Distilled water as final rinse to avoid water spots

Yeah a 10 dollar garden sprayer is much cheaper than a 69 dollar hydro shot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Looking for towel insight.

The gold and purple sold here are solid choices. So many decent towels out there now. Griot’s also has the PFM wax towels too Duragloss ones are nice too Plenty of alternative companies out there. You just have to try several and see what you like because everyone seems to like different...

Clean a section (a couple of panels) of the car with quick detailer.

I agree with Eldo. I don’t know why QD have been pushed to the corner and treated like it’s some subpar light weight cleaning product. In fact I think they are more robust than most waterless washes. More pure product I feel on the good ones. QD away my friends Sent from my iPhone using...

Using Meguiar's Ultimate Waterless Wash & Wax during winter

Gonna take a ton of that product and a ton of towels. Salt can be pretty hard to remove cleanly especially waterless wash like that. Most will tell you to try to go to a touchless wash first then do the Meguiars afterwords Anything you can do to try to get the salt off the better. All though...

New car and moving from Zaino to Ceramic

Sounds like a plan. Might want to do 2 wipe downs with several towels of eraser as 205 has a lot of residual IMO You don’t have to do reload unless you may see rain on the car with in a few days. It’s to protect against water spots. I find the cleaning effect of the coating is better than...

New car and moving from Zaino to Ceramic

Nothing wrong with using Zaino if you are used to it. But seeing you ordered UK 3.0 you need to follow what others say about prep. It’s different than your past zaino which is a “sealant” with them using the name “polish” just like Duragloss does. A polish is technically something that has...

    Undercarriage protection question

Based off needing something so soon I would likely use WD40 specialist long term corrosion inhibitor. Should be available at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Fluid film would work also but it doesn’t protect near as long Or just not worry about it at all and do a few undercarriage wash options at the...

    SEMA 2018... 2019 Products

And you don’t see mckees anything in Walmart or auto parts stores. So this is more consumer driven at retail brick and mortar establishments Permanon was before CARPRO hydro Mckees was probably about 5 copies down the road I remember permanon, hydro, wetcoat, aquabead, CAR speed seal, the...
