Believe it or not...a lot of people do. The wife of one of my best friends thinks it's great that her Acura gets washed every time it gets serviced. I offered to stop by with my light to show her what they are doing....she declined.

Just got mine....it was free. I looked up a few videos (including Pan's). It appears very easy to apply, and has very good slickness and hydrophobics. Durability is the question to be answered. Jimbo reviewed it...and did a 'torture test' to check out how well it will hold up. It did not...

I buy 16 oz bottles and get Detailed Image labels. They have a blank section on them, and then use transparent labels from a label maker

I have an IK Foam Pro 12. I use it for pre-soaking really dirty vehicles....it's loaded with Bilt Hamber Touchless. If you're doing rinseless and/or waterless washes, and take it to the coin-op if it's really bad....I'm doubting you really need one.

I love my IK Foam Pro 12. I also have an Ik Foam Pro 2 which has worked flawlessly for many years. That being said....when it comes to pump sprayers (not foamers)...I buy cheapie HDX sprayers from Home Depot. I use them for spraying APC....and they have been well worth the money.

I never really cared for the feel of the clay mitt on the paint anyway. And, being an old fart, I have a tendency to dislike anything new. The regular clay felt better, and I like to see what I'm removing from the paint.

My experience has been the same with clay mitts. I've gone back to traditional clay....Griots (mild) and 3M Perfect It (slightly aggressive). I've always used Griots Speed Shine as a clay lube.

Can't say for sure....as I've never combined a PH neutral soap and APC. I can only tell you that Touchless is a very solid product that delivers exactly what it says it will. I apply mine with an IK Foam Pro 12 at 25:1 ratio....stuff just flat out works

For reference...I use it in an IK foamer....I think the extra dwell time makes a difference

I use Surfex at 10:1....takes care of most of them. If needed, I have some mixed at 5:1...never needed a stronger solution than that

Bilt Hamber Surfex HD. I have it mixed at 10:1 and 5:1. Side note - I apply it via an IK foamer. To me, the extra dwell time foam gives you makes a difference. You will, however, use more product when used this way

So...not for nothing, but I have a question. I see people washing their wheels and tires with a dedicated product...like Brake Buster....or some type of color-changing product for iron removal. Unless I'm facing some wheels with a lot of brake dust buildup, I never have to reach for anything...

Circumstances dictated your level of effort...I see nothing wrong here
