    Chemical Guys Products?

I like CG, their web site is a bit much, but really - ever think about how many polishes Megs has and how they would be confusing for a new guy looking for something. I'm glad AG is carrying them, much faster shipping and prices are about the same. So, are they a mixer that buys their chemicals...

    Optimum MF system almost here!

Chris, I read that you tried these on the cyclo backing plates. I have been hoping that someone would make a set of MF pads for the cyclo. I hope to see a set for sale real soon. The cyclo is a great machine and MF pads are the way of the future.

    Menzerna FMJ

Interesting but - I tried WG sealant original and the only thing postive about it was the easy on- easy off, duribilty gone after the second wash. As far as the wax goes, I believe the inventer of Souveran out did himself with BF Midnight Sun, and yeah - I have a can of Souveran too, along with...

FK 1000P - let it haze up after getting it a tad too thick.

    Zaino Z-8

I like Blackfire detail spray and Duragloss Aquawax better. And there's that Automagic Hydroshine when you want to wax and not work.

What is the worst way you have seen a car cleaned?

Flashback, I was 14 and cleaned my Dad's old '64 Dodge Polara with dish towels and Comet, it had sat under a tree for years and never been washed, Dad bought it to drive around the farm on.

What is the worst way you have seen a car cleaned?

Rain - that's right, I asked a girl how she washes her car and that's the answer I got.

    Menzerna FMJ

Yes - the latest version of Blackfire sealant. I got the wax too, but the sealant looks so good, I can't bring myself to top it --yet.

    WOW! what a OTC find!

Carquest sells DG and if you find one of their "paint" stores, you can get Megs and 3M. I found one that carries Automagic - now that's a very under-rated but incredible line. I'd put their soaps, cleaners and dressings up against any available now.

    Menzerna FMJ

Never tried FMJ but, after trying WG, DG, Zaino, FK, Megs, and others - the best sealant I have tried to date and one that replaced everything else in my cabinet is Blackfire sealant. It is amazing - easy on, easy off (even for heavy handed guys like me) and the look, even my wife said it was...

NEW! Stoner Invisible Glass Cleaner With Rain Repellent

I usually just use ZAIO on the windshield - but Stoners has always been my glass cleaner, so I'm trying it.

    Fast and Furious

I saw the original "Gone in Sixty Seconds" back in the 70's, I was blown away at the driving in that movie. My buddies and I step out of the theater and some guy goes by in a yellow Mach I doing a burn out John Force would be proud of, I just smiled and said, "looks like the movie got to him!"

    Newbie here w/ a M105 / M205 question

Hey - better buy all the AR-15's you can now, while you can before the gov-ment decides what's best for you.

    polishing headlights

I go with the 1500-2000 grit wet sanding and then Megs 84 on a 4" orange LC pad with a rotary/or drill if you don't have a rotary.

What can a Cyclo correct...take a look, you'll be suprised!

How about the noise level? I assume it's pretty vibration free due to the design - but what about the sound? How would you compare it to say a PC or a Makita rotary?

    flex vs pc

Well, I have a PC, had a makita rotary - sold, and a FLex. Which do I use every detail - the PC. Why - most of my customers don't want and won't pay for paint correction, so it's a light polish (FFII) and a wax or ZAIO and Z5. I get more concern and compliments on the interior than the paint -...

    Stubborn Tree Sap

I detailed a 10 year old Pontiac Grand Prix that had been parked under the same tree for years - that sucker was almost dripping with sap. I bought a quart of Goo Gone, sprayed and let it sit for 5-10 minutes then used a soft brush and a bucket of HOT water/Dawn mix and scrubed the heck out of...

    New Cyclo Backing Plates

I don't have a Cyclo...yet, but after looking at this, I was curious if you could use (2) 3.5" Dual Action Flexible Backing Plate LC-43-085DA?

    Spy Photos of New Polisher!

Looks good, only thing I'd do is take that side handle off, go outside and throw it as far as I could. Then get a 5/16 bolt and plug that hold so the plastic wouldn't rattle - like I did the 7424.
