Pre soaking is good, letting a ONR soaked microfiber sit on it while you wash the rest of the car is even better.

If you have the opportunity to try Optimum GPS (glaze, polish, and seal) you should. It has diminishing abrasives so it's easy to finish nice, carnauba for a nice glow, and chemical cleaners to detox the paint.

Optimum Hyper Compound was recently reformulated and is now very fast cutting while using very little product and not needing exceeding speeds on the machine.

Very nice, we have tested our coatings extensively on PPF and its a winner.

Gloss Coat does have very good durability and especially good considering ease of application and effort to maintain. It's is very tolerant of exposure to any acid or alkaline cleaner that's intended for use on autos. I'm sure you could find something that would remove it, but it's not going to...

Cloudiness would be from exposure to air or possibly from freezing. The coatings store very well in the syringes when purged of air and sealed with the black top.

Just remember that you are washing and not sanding. Most times people go over a section 10 times and with more force than needed. A couple of smooth steady passes with sufficient lube is all you need.

A tightly wrung out microfiber first pass, waffle weave to finish...or sometimes I toss a beach towel (no sand) all the way across the car while on washing the next section. Works just like blotting without the work.

It really is a godsend. Third time you use it will be the learning curve and you'll never look back.

Toppers can be good or bad depending on whether they attract dust and improve watershed angle. Opti Coat can prevent many products from adhering to the surface so it may be a good idea or it may be a waste you'll just have to try and see.

My goodness, I've never seen this much bad information in one place.
