Very similar to PERL I like Silk Shine by Chemical guys. It can also be cut with water for a more matte look.
Longevity nod goes to PERL but initial looks are a tie between the two
I bought my 08 4runner 5 years ago and it too was owned by a smoker. After multiple treatments/ cleanings the 2 best things I did was get the carpets/upholstery professionally steam cleaned and swap out the cabin filter. For awhile I use to keep the windows at least cracked to help air it out...
The "ultimate" products are synthetic sealants while the "Gold class" products are their carnauba products. I personally prefer the Ultimate line. Megs Ultimate QD is one of the best products to put on while you dry. Very hydrophobic
Watered down CG Silk shine works well. I have also used CG air fresheners undiluted to clean the rubber mats and it leaves behind a very subtle matte sheen along with a nice smell.
Ironic how the dye comes off the jeans so easily and is a real b!tch to get off the leather. I'm still looking for a way to get that blue tint off the side of the driver seat of our Pilot. Gray leather.
For trade: pinnacle ss2 paste wax (only used once, kept refrigerated)
ISO: dodo juice light fantastic paste wax, at least 80% full please.
Message me if interested. Thanks
Even Carmaxx isn't that nonchalant about their cars. But then again there are some people who keep their cars on such a filthy state that taking a soapy wash mitt to the whole interior wouldn't be the worst thing.
Could Reload be the answer for those who want a coating but are worried about the application process? I recently got some and have only used it on my windshield due to needing more time to do a full wash/decon/and lsp removal before I Reload the whole thing. Water and glass cleaner definitely...
I've used both and D156 is a much better product. Can be used as a drying aid and a lsp. It has gloss, slick feel and decent longevity. That's hey I buy it by the gallon.
Your house looks sharp. Trucks cool too. The drought tolerant landscape of your neighborhood suggests that you probably get mild winters. Collinite will probably hold. I live in central CA and do a winter detail every year too just to not really need it. I only buy wipers every 3 years or so.
