Im using the hyper polish right now as we speak on my chevelle and I love it. Im using a LC hybrid white polishing pad and it works great. I personally would cut with the MF and polish with foam u get better results that way. That's from my personal experience.

Your using the finishing pads not the cutting pads?

I don't know i will but so far i don't like them.

I used it both ways and i did find out that without the washer it wasn't that hard to stop it and with the washer it was almost impossible.

I started with the optimum spray compound and that didn't do very good so i went to the d300 and that did the trick really well.

I also say the rupes. THe flex was a great machine but it was hard to handle. I was more tired after doing a car using the flex.

How do you know did you ever try the rupes out? i had the flex and griots and the flex to me is a better machine. Exspecially over the griots.

Vibration is about the same as the flex. I really like the feel of the rupes. IT just feels great in your hand. I don't know about the loss on selling the flex. We'll have to see the more i use it, but so far its great. I might do a polish job on the impala later in the week if the weather...

No im just going on how the tool seems to be built. U could by any brand of polisher or car for that matter and have problems. Its a chance u take with anything u buy. They have a great rep for the tools they build and they have been around a long time.
