My Recent International Order Experience, read this BEFORE YOU ORDER

The problem seems to be more UPS than AG (other than the poor email trail and lack of tracking number). I handle these UPS shipments all over the globe for the company I work for and if there is problem with shipping the shipper (AG in this case) has to all the talking. You can start by...

What kind of water is used in coin operated car washes

I used to work in a car wash (very long time ago) that actually recycled their water within the car wash. I had to clean the filter with a shovel there was so much gunk in the winter months. See alot of guys do a spray in the winter (no other option) and wonder how clean the water really is...

    PC7424 vibration

Mine is the XP so maybe that is why mine is fine. There was a post on here about a 3" DA that had bushes installed badley from new (they were not seated properly). The other thing was lack of grease in the inner gear housing. Don't know if worth it to take apart and inspect, but I would...

How do you polish tail lights?

PlastX for me too by hand. I would not polish. I also seal with Optimum Gloss Coat 2 x per year so no issues.

    PC7424 vibration

I have the same machine and still use it after 4 years. I find the pads are the variable. Currently using the ThinPro 3.5 and 5.5 pads and they work great with this machine.

    Damaged Dash: Looking for advice

What a pain in the behind. To get the ball rolling check with your new car dealer. They may know of an installer, that changes cloth seats into leather seats. Katzkins has a list of installers, that can install their leather covers, and they are usually Auto Trim Shops that do interior work...

    Quick dust removal...

The duster doesn't remove grime, just dust. For grime you need a lubricant and cleaning abilities.

I've got some products on the shelf and trying to decide which to use

I think same thing. I use LSP every month or so over Optimum Gloss Coat so longevity is not revelent. My DD beads water like crazy and always looks shiny (when not covered in snow). I will continue to use Optimum Gloss Coat 3-4 times per year, topped with Opti-Seal and Collenite 845 until...

    Dr Colorchip question

It will work on the edge same as works on flat panel. If it is right down to metal you might want to primer first and right away. To apply primer spray a bit into the cap of the aresol and apply with fine brush (you only need a very small amount). Wait 10 minutes and put on first coat of Dr...

    Anyone use these?

Used both with my iBrid Nano. Both work very well. The blue compound with the blue pad 1" rotary slings alot if too much product. The yellow works great. I'm going to get the white at some point, just cause the other 2 work so well.

    Eagle One Surface Prep Mitt...Amazing

I have had the fine Speedy Prep towel for 5 years. I only use it on my DD, so maybe 12 times. Was fairly costly back then, but had little experience with clay, so ignorance is bliss. Have not used clay since and no marring with lots of lube. For my DD this would have done the job no problem.

    Trimming pads?

$250.00 USD is insane for three tools and a piece of hard rubber (sorry you also get a plastic mallet). That is the sale price (regular is a wopping $294.99 USD). That is approx. $390.00 CND plus shipping and Customs. Too rich for my blood. I'll go down to the local pipe supplier and get 3...

Rupes iBrid Nano comprehensive review (short neck and long neck)

I have the short neck and I think it gives more control. It's like writing with your elbow off the surface, wrist is way better focal point. The tool is so easily controlled especially at low speed and the rotary tool that it really doesn't make much difference. I use mine more than any other...

Noob question re: clear coat failure

To answer your question OP, you sand both before and after. Before to remove old decaying paint and provide a good surface for the primer to bond to. Next step is to prime with sandable filler primer. This provides a smooth surface and a good bonding base for the coloured paint (you can sand...
