I've had my Iron-X Soap Gel for over four years. Now that I just looked at it, it does appear to be a bit cloudy. However, I did use it on my wheels last March and June. Some parts of the wheels did turn color showing that it was working even after these years.

Can never have to much "stuff".

I don't rinse the foam off. I just start with a bucket of shampoo wash and wash mitt after applying the foam. Then do the rinse.

Stop by a grocery store and pick up a bottle of CLR, (calcium, lime, rust). I've had good luck with it in removing calcium deposits off of cars.

WeatherTech here as well. Just threw the front ones in the shower to wash and rinse off the salt and mud. Getting ready for that blizzard that just started up here in New England.

After ya soak & clean em, use a vacuum cleaner. Then see if ya feel any dirt.

I have a Echo PB-2100 gas blower that I use to dry the vehicles. Its handy, just inside the garage door.
