does the car value retains its value when it is maintained?

Does it maintain value, slightly! But what it more maintains is appeal, if your talking about selling privately and Mr Joe Bloggs goes to see two cars, same car, same spec, same mileage but one the paintwork is maintained (as is the rest of the car) compared to one which isnt, obviously they...

My own car - 1999 VW Passat 2.8 V6 4Motion (and usually the test bed for most products)

Today a little more time spent on the car, after washing it as it was covered on oily finger prints from being in the garage I decided to work on the engine bay in particular the underside of the bonnet. I polished with a Meguiars MF pad via a DA, then Applied Zaino Z2 Show Polish (Sealant)...

    infinity Q50 clear coat

They are SOLID, hardest clearcoat i have ever worked on!!!! Obviously they use Ceramic clear coat. I only just finished a FX350d today, my second one and both as time consuming as each other. Also the paint finish is shocking from factory with the amount of orange peel.

    Is a Glaze really Important???

I cant remember the last time i used a Glaze, maybe back in my Swissvax days, i more opt for the likes of Zaino Z2 then Wax or if im using a nano sealant or coating then final IPA then LSP. Obviously certain colours will be better with a glaze like solid black.
