If you were going to do that process..I would do the 845 first then the Sov as a topper... 845 has a high solvent content and I think if you topped Sov with it you will actually remove the Sov actually just try one or the other first to see if you like the look of just one on the paint...

well it sounds like the female fitting on the tank is shot if the fitting inside it moves and leaks..its no longer a tight fit... you can try this stuff also....its called Plumbers Goop... 3.7Oz Plumbing Goop also another trick may be get a fitting with a longer thread so it goes in further...

yes...wrap it around about 5 times and then screw it in...wrap it the oppisite way it screws in also so it will not unwind going in...its cheap also like maybe a 1.50 a roll at home depot or lowes..in the plumbing section...they have a liquid also....or a paste ...use what you feel comfortable...

Have you tried wrapping the fitting threads with Teflon tape...is it leaking from the fitting going into the tank..if so a good wrapping of Teflon tape will most likely fix the leak... Al

To me..PO85RD brings the gloss up a little more on Reds..Blacks Yellows and darker colors than 106FF...85RD is slightly less abrasive...and it seems to just mirror out on darker colors more so than 106FF... 106FF will give a great finish by all means..but the 85RD goes a bit higher in the gloss...
