    Micro Towels Nightmare

Bill..the fabric softener is just a type of a silicone...it will wash out no problem....either Micro restore or something like Wisk or Tide free... only problem a fabric softener can do is cause streaking from the residual product on the fibers...and also make it less absorbent for a drying...

    Flex and pad question?

Ok..mine was cut on a bridgeport..I said lathe before but it was a bridgeport..the center hole was used to rotate it while bolted to the table...the plate was then rotated under the cutting tool...to the point it hit the foam......then cut with a new razor..took all of 10 minutes... Al

Which wheel cleaner do you use?

I do not think the PB's cleaner is citrus based...its a acid base .. Spray & Rinse is a professional grade acidic blended product for the quick and easy removal of brake dust and road grime from most wheels. Just spray it on a cool, wet wheel, let it set for a few minutes and then use a steady...

    duragloss polish bonding agent

I am not sure..but a wild guess would say yes...worth trying any ways....the 601 is a cleaner..not to strong but may be enough to clear the menz....... you can just do the sealant right over the Menz glaze...I like the menz glaze..but its not a real wet look..more deep and warm looking... I...

    Flex and pad question?

I have bought 2 extra plates and I had one cut down to the support ring and its a little over 4.5 inches now and I use my 5 and 5.5 in pads no problem....and have not seen a issue with the smaller plate...I just used it today infact for 3 hours on paint and it did just fine...in fact I ithink it...

    duragloss polish bonding agent

Now...601 is not a real curing accelerator..its a bonding agent..it preps the paint to ensure a good bonding surface...the residue mixes with the sealant and it acts like a catalyst to extend the life of the sealant..what it does do it starts the sealant to get a hard shell fast..but not make it...

    wolfgang deep gloss sealant

yes it will harden over the course of a few days....hardening does not mean curing...curing is the crosslinking a sealant goes thru when it molecular bonds to the paint.... If they say it does then it does..I was a beta tester for the PC and was told no it does not excellerate curing and that...

    Four Star UPP - Updated

I did not see it on the 4* site..was this announced any where...I really like the look of UPP..but it was a poor performer..if this new formulation helps durability..I may revisit it..as it is a sweet looking sealant... AL

    ***duragloss Users.....free Duragloss***

That would be my choice...501 to really deep clean the paint and leave a sealant also...and 105 to give it the looks..and AW a few days later ... AL

    wolfgang deep gloss sealant

When I got the Test kit from David..I asked about it being a fast curing agent..he replied NO..its a enhancer for the appearance and durability....not a curing agent... recent post from Lynn Quote: Originally Posted by flash ash Thanks I'm happy I can use it Most sealants have to be left...

    Durability??? Collinite Vs Sealant

The 601 is a bonding agent..its a cleaner and a catalyst..you leave it on the paint and do not buff off...it ensures a clean surface of any old product or oils from polishing..the residue mixes with the sealant and forms a harder shell...and adds a bit more to the lasting of it... the cleaner...

    Durability??? Collinite Vs Sealant

Well a sealant and wax will not protect much from chipping and scratches...but it will from the rest of the worries you had listed.... now the best of both worlds is to do a sealant to seal the paint as it bonds to a molecular level on paint..then top it with a collinite wax...I like 915 and...

I did a Ford F-350 last summer with the famous Ford Fade...I had trim restorer on hand...i used it before with so so results meaning it streaked in the rain and after a few washes it showed the fade... Whats best for white paint wax or sealant?

Exactly..any one who has used 501 on white has said it does something to white that really doe it well...it just makes it so bright....you can top it with 105 if wanted..but 501 will hold its own as far as durability...it super deep cleans paint and is a sealant also...its not a big investment...
