Being a senior geek I ask my Dr. am I turning into an old irritable grouch, she says no KB your just tired of stupid people and nobody now a days has any common curtesy :)
Our DD has 2 coats of BSD and after last wash did 50/50 mixture BSD / BM as a drying aid. Some slickness but not like pure BM. So far with rain snow weather here car does look cleaner. If its warm when I get home and do a quick rinse the dirt does come off easier.
Over holidays I got time to do wife's escape which is our DD with 2 coats of BSD. As stated no slickness but when sheeting off water after wash there is less if any water to blow off.
BSD does have a nice shine but miss the slickness of BM.
We traveled about 100 miles yesterday and when we got home the XT5 still looked good. Today with my OCD I washed it and it had to be the easiest wash I ever did. The mitt just slid over the car :) Of course BM was used as a drying aid also.
Here in the Burgh area with upcoming winter and salt I want self cleaning and durability so maybe I will give BSD a try on wife's car since its the DD. XT5 has numerous coats of BM and is shining sitting in garage :)
