Best Snow Removal Brush out there?

Happy Holidays everyone. I am in search of a snow removal brush that (wishful thinking perhaps) won't scratch my paint. What do some of you use? Any recommendations appreciated. -Ed

The most toxic product you have used/use

Hello everyone! I've doing a lot of reading on a variety of products specifically for the detailing world and some products not necessarily designated for use in detailing like xylene and isopropyl alcohol. I know there are a few acid based wheel cleaners out there too. My question to...

    TRIX Tar and Iron Remover

I don't remember seeing this before. Is this something new? Has anyone tried it and if you have, I'd like to hear your experiences with it. I have been using Carpro SnowSoap on my white Nissan because it seems to be the only thing that removes dirt and most importantly bug splatter on my...

    Moving to Houston, Texas...

Within a year or less I will be moving to Houston. This climate will be very different from the Northeast climate I have lived in for the past 40+ years of my life. No snow, no frigid temperatures and nothing other then searing heat that can add to the destruction of my car's paint. I'd like...

PH of car soaps on the market

I've been using CarPro Snowsoap, but I'm interested to know the PH level of the some of the other car soaps you all use out there. Did some research, couldn't seem to find any info here. If there's a soap you use, and you happen to know the PH, please post here. I'm primarily looking for a...

New White Vinegar for rinsing MF's/Cleaning

So, everyone has been talking about using white vinegar in the rinse load for your MF's. I came across this today at Walmart and decided to bite. This formula is 6% acidic vs. the standard white vinegar which is cut at 5%. Wonder if it will make a difference in cleaning/effectiveness.

CarPro Snow Soap: I think I found a new car soap/clay replacement.

I had purchased a sample of CarPro Iron-X Snow Soap, and I have to admit I am truly amazed. Originally, I bought it along with Iron-X to get rid of what I think is rail dust on my front hood. I had diluted the Snow Soap using 1oz to every gallon of water. While it didn't get rid of what I...

    Iron-X Snow Soap Dilution help

Hello everyone. I just recently came into possession of a bottle of this soap. I've never tried it. I'm not great with dilution ratios, but the bottle says: "Wash mitt/pre-wash/bucket: 1:8 dilution with water." So, how do I prepare this solution? I'm a total idiot when it comes to...

    Houston, Texas

I am planning on visiting family in the Cypress area. Can anyone make any recommendations as to some good places to visit? I'll be going in August. Hot, I know, but just trying to get some ideas as to what to do other than sweat. Thanks. -Ed

Autotopia ordering over Memorial Day Weekend

Did anyone place an order with Autopia.com over the Memorial Holiday weekend? My order is just sitting in limbo with one item on backorder. I sent two emails to customer support with no answer. I called them this morning and the guy there couldn't get me over to customer service. Never got a...

P21S/S100 Drying Cloth-Don't Waste Your Money!

I bought the S100 version of the P21S Synthetic Drying towel recently. I wanted something that was in a compact container for keeping in the glove box for those times when I decided to get my car washed on a "spur of the moment." This towel does not perform at all as stated by the...
