I have a car with good paint but needs a quick all-in-one. I will be in a garage and able to start at noon but will need to finish by early that afternoon....3 to 5pm. And it's suppose to be raining that day. So...I should use Wolfgang AIO or I have some Meg paint reconditioning cream. What...

CarPro Hydro on top of AIO?

I have a couple of cars coming up (if it ever quits raining) and I have typically been using a AIO for mild correction and as a LSP. I also have CarPro Hydro on the way and wondering about the application of CarPro on top of the AIO. I believe this would be considered a sealant on top of a...

Quick question on sealant curing time if the weather get nasty

Looks like I will have a car to do this week and I'll be able to detail it in doors. I plan on a one step process and look to seal it with Klasse AIO. This is a tough last step product which will have some durability with the car sitting outside all the time. So....how long can I wait before...

School me on Iron X by CarPro

I've used Iron X many times on wheels. Can you tell me about using it on paint? Does the surface need to be wet?? I know it doesn't need to dry and it's best to let it work for approx. 5 minutes. Any drawback to using it??

    wipe down product

I know this has been covered but my search skills are weak. Prior to the sealant/wax application what's everyone using for a wipe down? I see where a 50/50 IPA mix is good. I've also see that a quick detail spray is good. Any preference on what works best??

    ??Flex 3401 VRG??

Basically I detail my own cars and a few others. Mostly friends and friends of friends and a lot of times I work on a barter system. You hook me up with a few rounds of golf for a great looking car, etc. I fell I'm pretty decent at what I do and can accomplish. I'm don't wet sand, etc. but...

    All-in-One polish??

Been using Klasse AIO polish for a while and really love the results. Most of my cars are daily drivers and cars of friends. I'm just a weekend detailing junkie. I need to step up and buy the big bottle of Klasse or maybe see if there is a better AIO out there. I'm using a PC 7424XP. When I...

    Spring detail question

Or should I say warmer weather...........I've got a couple of my cars that are daily drivers that I detailed a few months ago. Top both off with Collinite 845. I know this is a hard long lasting wax so what I'm asking is what is to be done in the spring (not too far away) to strip the 845 off...

    stripping the old wax off....

Maybe the topic is a bit mis-leading but I have a Lexus and I am thinking of sealing the paint with Wolfgang or Menz Power Lock before this winter. It's in great shape but it's a daily driver and I may go with something more durable. I currently have Fuzion wax on it. Question is if I wash...

Help pick out a swirl remover..

I'm sure this is like beating a dead horse and the more I read the more undecided I am. I have used Meg 105 with sucess but have had some dusting, drying problems that I've work thru. I've used WG TSR with fairly good sucess and it tends to work easy with good results. Most of the vehicles I...

    Meg 205 then what question

Just bought a fairly good shape dark blue 2008 Nissan. Looking at the paint I first went with Meg 205 with white pad (not good enough) then 205 with an orange pad (close) so in the end I ended up with Meg 105 with an orange pad. Looks like it has just the right amount of cut. The car is not...

    Kitchen counter/stainless shine............

A bit off the subject but I have never got the "no streak" really good shine on my granite counter and stainless kitchen appliances untill the other day. I've used Windex, Invisible glass, diluted APC, many of my "geek" car care products (I stopped at using a buffer) .....then I had someone...

Going to get an iphone and wondering are you pretty much locked in to the Verizon store for the cost of the iphone or are there any other options? I've searched the internet but unless it's direct from a trusted source some deals are too good to be true.. ***Also, it seems most all Verizon...

    Which pad???

On a white car I'll be trying out some Poorboy’s World White Diamond Show Glaze trying to figure out what pad to use. I'm thinking: 1) swirl remover with the correct pad...prob orange. 2) then the White Diamond with a white pad?? 3) then seal with wax or sealant. Also, I've read where...
